Carnival Honolulu Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Legend Honolulu to Sydney

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Legend

Went on same ship in 2014 from LA to Sydney and loved it. The ship is looking like it is overdue for maintenance but the crew is still the best. Lots more rust this time, and our AC in the cabin broke completely one day and it was over 90 degrees in there, but they fixed it as fast as they could. Only real problem was the out of control young teenage kids, and the complete refusal of ...

Where do I begin with this cruise review. We have been on this ship before and this time was as good as the last, except longer. What a great way to come home from Hawaii - so much more relaxing. We actually stayed in Waikiki for eleven days before the cruise and didn't want to leave there. We had a package and stayed at the Hyatt Regency on the 33rd floor. Fantastic. Buffet breakfast was ...

Destination, destinations, the cruise was amazing, a journeys cruise with lots of extras to a normal cruise. Staff were wonderful. Ship was clean and the food was fantastic, we had foods from all the different islands, so much fresh fruit and a added midnight buffet. I really can not fault anything about this cruise , it was everything we wanted plus more. We stayed in 4k, great part of the ...

So Let me begin with a quick overview of ourselve. We do try to cruise once a year and have never been to Alaska or Hawai'i. Last year we did the Caribbean as well as Europe and that has been our geatest vacation thus far. I do hope this one tops that :) We have been planning this (and paying for this) for eight months now and hope it all works out according to plan :) We both have just hit our ...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Carnival Spirit

The Carnival Spirit embarked on a once in a lifetime cruise in the fall of 2012 so that the ship could become a permanent member of Carnival Australia's fleet. The cruise started in Alaska and ultimately ended in Sydney. A number of passengers made the entire trip but a large part of the group boarded in Honolulu. The majority of passengers were from Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. A large ...

Hi Cruisers! Up until cruising with Carnival, John and myself had only cruised with P@O. We had cruised around Australia and also to the South Pacific Islands - Isle of Pines, Lefou, Mare, Noumea and Fiji. It was a friend of ours, Stacey, a seasoned cruiser, who incidentally, we met on the Pacific Dawn, who suggested that we all go on the Carnival Spirit Repositioning Cruise from Honolulu.  To ...

Firstly I thought I had submitted my review but on reflection I forgot as we were away for so long it just slipped my mind. But nevertheless here goes. We arrived in Honolulu from Australia (there was a large contingent of Aussies on this cruise due to the packaging of Fire and Ice cruise land deal). After 10 hour flight we were tired and the wait in the hot sun was tiring and the usual ...

We are a married couple in our sixties living in Orange County, CA. Even though we are not retired yet it was our third vacation this year. We had also a Princess cruise in January and a resort stay in Mexico in May of this year. It was our fourteenth cruise, fifth cruise on Carnival, and the third one on Spirit. We booked this cruise well in advance - in February. First, I do research on ...

Aloha! Hawaii to Vancouver - a great Spring vacation

Hawaii - Carnival Spirit - April 23-May 5, 2010 Overall, this was a wonderful cruise on the Spirit. This was my 8th cruise and the fourth time on a Carnival ship (second time on the Spirit). I was travelling "solo", however, it was nice to meet many wonderful people (a number of whom were Cruise Critic members). THE SHIP: The Spirit was a large ship, but smaller than many of the new ships ...

Royal Caribbean Diamonds try Carnival for 25th Anniversary!

Our only other Carnival cruise was 15 years ago, a 4 day to the Bahamas. Decided to "jump ship" from Royal Caribbean because of price and itinerary. We got 2 more days and one more port for abour $1000 less per person. Didn't know for sure if we would regret it or not. No regrets! The ship is smaller that what we are used to, and the decor seemed dark, but I quickly got used to it. Preferred it ...
