We had been to Hawaii before and know how beautiful it is, and were looking forward to sharing it's beauty with our friends. There was a group of 14 of us.
The ship was old and in fair condition. The rooms were average and the beds were very uncomfortable. Our backs were killing us the first night. The bedding, however, was comfortable.

This was my first trip to Hawaii and it certainly lived up to expectations. Hawaii is a most incredible place to visit and I would certainly recommend going! However, I would most definitely not recommend going with Carnival!

Carnival Legend. What can I say?
Decor: Tacky.
Food: Average at best (had me wishing I could be at home to cook my own meals).
Entertainment: Average to Decent. Musicals were OK, but did not appreciate the juggler joking about his "balls". Funny the first time. Crude and annoying by the tenth joke. Trivia games were trivial, but really the only things that could alleviate the boredom ...

We sailed with Carnival a number of times. Unfortunately the food quality and amenities deteriorated each time. Service are suffering too because the staff are overworked. This might be the last time we will set foot on a Carnival ship.
Here are some of the low points of our tripe:

Our second time sailing on the Miracle.....do NOT book cabin 8202.The air conditioning was roaring all the time. It was a lot louder at night. Maintenance tried to fix it.....we had them in the cabin at 2am one morning.The guy did try his best and said he would have to talk to his chief.They did turn down something but it was still loud.

Just got back from the 12-6/12-21 sailing to Hawaii. A cruise that, IMO, shouldn't have happened. As a matter of fact, based on information I found out later, the ship should have never left Long Beach.

When we planned our 'once-in-a-life- time' cruise to the Hawaiian Islands we had 60 hours of vacation time for five islands and a stop in Ensenada.
