This was my third cruise, second with Carnival, and I had a great time! This ship was very similar to the Splendor, which I had sailed on last time.
Ports:
I sailed with my boyfriend (first time cruiser) and we selected this specific cruise because we really liked the itinerary. He wanted to go to Belize, and I wanted to revisit Cozumel and check out Roatan. Two sea days surrounding the 4 ...
Carnival Glory Ship was a pleasure to sail on.
We had a wonderful time. The weather in February 2018 was great & the sea was smooth. We played mini golf & I got a hole in one. All the crew was kind & helpful.I was surprised to find out that Carnival no longer sells postage stamps nor do they sell any post cards on the ship. In the past I would mail them from the ship but now
I had to ...
I want to say that the people, that take care of you on the ship do a great job.
The food is very good, not perfect. But over all, more choices than I can take advantage of.
The biggest problem I had was, getting it hot from the Lido chow line. Most of the time it was hot to warm. there was a few things that could of been warmer for me.
The food at the main dinning restaurant was ...
This is our 5th Carnival cruise. We have sailed RCCL (8x's), Princess (2x's), Celebrity (1) and Norwegien (1x). Needless we are definitely dedicated Carnival cruisers.
We chose this cruise because of Guys Burgers and Cantina, BUT the food was amazing everywhere on the ship. We did the fine dining, steakhouse. FANTASTIC.
Our room steward was so accommodating. ENTERTAINMENT was A++++. ...
This was our first cruise. We were 4 ppl, friends around age 40.
I was thinking before this first cruise holiday, that this will be a love at first sight or a hate forever experience. Turned out to be the first one :) LOVE
We loved each moment. It was a bit difficult to get used to the 360° FUN atmosphere.
We had several times questions like: it this allowed? can I take this here? can we ...
We loved this ship. With it being 15 years old, Carnival has done a great job of keeping the vessel in good condition. Staff worked tirelessly to keep cabins and public areas clean.
We had a balcony cabin, #7367, right in the middle of the ship. There was ample storage space. After unpacking, we put our suitcases under the bed which allowed for even more room. Thank you to Marichil, our ...
We chose this cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary get away. We had a wonderful experience aboard and could not have asked for more.
Unfortunately on January the 2nd I suffered a near death experience, which could have been avoided.
The kayaking/snorkeling instructor failed to address all related safety measures and consequently some of us had minor and major problems with our ...
We sailed the Carnival Glory over the January 2018 New Year with two other couples and had a wonderful time. We want to take a moment and thank the following crewmembers for making this cruise truly memorable.
We stayed in a roomier-than-average sized stateroom 6450 on Deck 6. This is a very nice stateroom with balcony at the back of the ship, and shares a private hallway with room 6452. ...
I chose this cruise because of the dates and the itinerary. This was my first time with the new embarkation process. We basically went through security then walked to the ship only having our passes scanned along the way. Once on the ship we were able to get food till our room was ready. We then picked up our keys from the mailbox in front of our door.
For those who have traveled on the Glory ...
The pros:
- Best Cruise Food I've Ever Had
- Good Choice of Activities (except for the last day/sea day which was mostly sales promotions for "activities")
- Excellent Selection of Food: The $5 California has real crab meat, the Steak House is worth the $35 (except they might now get your food right)
- Excellent Ports on the 4 day
- Easy On Boarding
- Superior Experienced ...
