Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

We chose Carnival because we were paying for our family to take this vacation. We have been on other Carnival ships but mainly stay with Royal Caribbean. Checking in was awesome. Not much of a wait but that is were it stopped. When we booked we called Carnival to book everything. We were told the ship was going to be redone in May/June and the person we spoke with sent me via email a new layout of ...

We just got off the Glory and I wanted to mention a few things. We had a good time and the trip was fun as a whole. I will be looking into a new cruise line for our next trip as this was our 9th with Carnival. First and foremost for me was that the A/C in our balcony stateroom 7221 didn’t work. A technician came but he could only adjust it by 2* cooler. Secondly was the food. The Lido buffets ...

First of all these are not cheap cruises and you work hard for your money so you should expect a great experience. Pros- beautiful places to see!! Western Caribbean was amazing. We had out of this world service from Trinidad and Prathtz in the platinum dining room. Aaron the was also on point. Great service. There was surprisingly always a very good amount of dining tables and beach chairs ...

Fifth cruise and 3rd cruise line. Second cruise on Carnival. We took our kids on their first cruise on Carnival Victory last year. Despite what we had negatively heard about Carnival, the cruise on Victory was above our expectations on all fronts. So my wife and I booked a 7-day for this Summer on Glory. Never again on Glory, and possibly never again with Carnival. The good - easy and fast ...

Music was always way too loud wherever it was played. Could not see the musicals due to extremely loud . Have cut way back on food offered and quality. Don't get hungry at night!!! Meat in dining room poor quality. Tough, grissle and found hair and an herb branch In food. Will take another cruise line next time. Staff was wonderful to us though. The bed was so comfortable. Wish I had one at home ...

This was our first Carnival Player's Club Premier Cruise with promotions in the casino, although it was our 40th cruise. We had priority embarkation and it was so smooth and pleasant. We ate in the main dining room on most nights and the food was good. Love the Guy's Burger on the Lido deck. The Red Sail buffet on deck 9 was ok. We only ate there for breakfast, and a lot of the time the food ...

Wanted to visit Rotan. Could not dock as water was too choppy,,,should have been given an on board credit.....Opened a bottle of their water even charged me for that should have at least let me have that for not stopping at port.Other than that staff was very polite ,,,food was good and entertainment was alright,,,I find they keep the ship itself very clean where the public is out and about....the ...

I have cruised with ccl over 30 times & overall it is a great value for the$$$. The #1 asset has always been & continues to be the friendliness & good service of the help, esp.the room stewards, dining staff & bartenders. I have 2 complaints overall. The 1st is that ccl seems to nickle/dime us to death. Fuel costs are lower now than they were 10 years ago,yet every ccl cruise I take there seems ...

it was a group cruise. embarkation and disbark was a breeze even with a child. we had plans for the ports so that was the focus of the cruise. Cosumel at the Chankanaabe (sp) park was fantastic even though it was too windy for snorkeling. Mayan replicas were extensive with a tour. sea lion show, great mexican buffet, we could see the dolphin experience through windows while eating the buffet. ...

We chose the cruise for the itinerary. The ship itself is getting dated and is in dire need of an update. Not as clean as I would have liked - had to ask to have beds cleaned, found old bread underneath my bed. Cabin really worn out. Holes in curtains, lampshades. Two ports with tenders. Really long waits in Belize to get onto a tender, and the ride to Belize itself is long. Roatan was a blast. ...
