Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Glory

Chose this itinerary based on only 14 day out of NOLA. Do not enjoy Jamaica anymore but wanted to experience Panama Canal and Limon Costa Rica. Really enjoy Bonaire as we love to snorkel at Klein Bonaire. We also became Platinum on Carnival this cruise and we’re eager to see what perks this would bring. The good: Embarkation was easy and though we arrived 30 min ahead of our appointed time ...

The 14 day journey cruise on the Glory was overall memorable. Embarkation was great as soon as we got to the port and went thru security we were on the ship. We had some great stops, Montego Bay Jamaica, Aruba, Cartagena Columbia, Puerto Limon Costa Rica, the Panama canal and cozumel. the crew was great. Depending on where your room was on the ship there was a constant movement of the ship. I ...

We were excited to cruise to the ports on the extended cruise for 25th Anniversary. Little did we know it would be a 80s themed cruise both entertainment and passengers. If we did ...we never would have booked it. Be aware when we got back and I called Carnival told me that the older age group is common for the Journey Cruises. (Didn’t see that in the description)Other than that I can’t say enough ...

First of all, we love carnival. We are platinum. I have about 35 cruises with them and am loyal.. but this boat was hot! I was sweating like crazy everywhere and our cabin was even hotter. I did not have them come to check it out, my fault.. I wish I had. I just didnt want the interruption/inconvenience. This was the first time we did not fall in love with our dining staff. They are always so ...

Great Itinerary but very low level of consideration for customer satisfaction.

I chose this cruise for the great destinations. We stopped at Half Moon Cay Bahamas, St Thomas, Puerto Rico, and Grand Turk. The Bahamas and Grand Turk were the best two locations with plenty to do as soon as you walk off the ship. This part of the cruise was outstanding but other factors bring me to an overall average rating. First, I have never seen maintenance used on a cruise ship ...

We have cruised with Carnival about 8 times before, once with P&O and once with MSC. Glory is an older ship and this is reflected in her appearance, many areas are streaked with rust and our balcony was particularly bad! The glass on the balcony door was streaked with marks and the surrounding frame was in very poor condition with what appeared paint streaks?? The booking in procedure in ...

I considered myself a somewhat seasoned cruiser having been cruising since 2001, logging 20 cruises in that time; and in the process achieving Platinum status on RCL, Princess and Carnival. I say somewhat seasoned because I know many cruisers that consider me a beginner. That being said here is my impressions of the 11 night Journey cruise on the Glory out of San Juan. Ship: While having ...

(Please forgive me for the horrible spelling and improper grammar. On a plane, tired, blah) I just got off the Carnival Glory after a 10-day cruise departing Miami. I have used online reviews and forums over the years when researching cruises, excursions, etc. I haven’t written a review in quite some time, so I figured it’s time to throw one out there! A little background on myself and my ...

My wife and I have been on 5 cruises, this being our 3rd Carnival cruise. We chose the Glory because we were looking for a southern Caribbean itinerary and needed to cruise in September. We flew into Orlando the day before our cruise and rented a car (Thrifty) to get us to Port Canaveral(PC). It was less expensive than any ground transportation transfers and it gave us the flexibility once at PC ...
