Just ok

First I think the Captain did an excellent job and our dinner services was also excellent. Sunny and Christian were awesome. The lunch type food was ok. I didn't care for Guy burgers or the pizza parlor. I didn't care for the comedians onboard, very crude and nasty. All and all the entertainment onboard wasn't at all what I expected. They take a lot of pictures, however, the cost of the pictures ...

My wife and I had sailed on Glory once before and enjoyed our time aboard, along with the fact that we got a great deal for a 7 day cruise. All the destinations we had visited several times before but we needed a break away and this was our choice. Glory is not too big or small and there seems to be something for just about anyone. We stayed at Red Roof Plus in Miami, an older Inn but with ...

We specifically chose this cruise -- before the hurricanes -- because we wanted to visit Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. We were worried about the people after hearing the news of the devastation: Would our visit be a burden or a blessing? I can tell you that for these islands, the cruise visitors are a blessing. The people are very appreciative and express their thanks many times for our visits. The ...

Still a good choice 14 years later...

We had sailed on the Carnival Glory back in 2004 and it is still a good option for cruising. After being at sea for nearly 15 years, Carnival has done a great job of keeping the vessel in good condition. The public areas were all well maintained and the staff worked tirelessly to keep it clean. We still enjoyed the convenience of the deck 5 promenade which allows you to reach both ends of ...

We have cruised on Carnival ships for years. I am sad to say, we are very disappointed in our last cruising experience on the Glory. First, after checking in at airport, we were told our room keys would be available next to stateroom. We get to room, and no key was there. I was told I had to go to customer service and at this point, the wait was over an hour just to speak with someone to get a ...

Overall I think the cruise was amazing. I had a problem with the motion. In talking to another guest, I was able to purchase some wristbands in the gift shop that helped a lot with the issue. What I found disappointing was when my sister made the reservations there were 4 ports. After hurricane season Carnival took one of our ports, St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands away and gave us another ...

My BF and I planned this trip for a year so it was Awesome to finally be able to woo-sah after a busy year, was needed. Our hearts go out to all of the hurricane victims, but we were still very disappointed about our new itinerary. Instead of Puerto Rico and St. Thomas, we ended up going to the following places: First, Embarkation and Debarkation was quick and easy. Half Moon Cay ...

This cruise enjoyed good weather with a high temperature of 80-83 every day. The water slides were up and running. The buffet just adequate. I think Golden Corral does better on the buffet, so we ended up with Guys burgers for lunch more often than we would have liked. Early dining was full when we booked the cruise, so we had to get it after the cruise started. Maybe if they moved ...

This was my girlfriend and I 5th cruise. For the first time we brought our just turned two year old daughter along for a vacation. We had a balcony on the 10th floor. The room was just ok. Nothing great..nothing horrible Like every other cruise we have done we arrived in Miami a day or two before the cr nightuise.. Embarking was about as expected. The ship is just ok..its clearly showing its age. ...

Outdated Cruise, Poor Hospitality

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

Booked this cruise for a family vacation while celebrating a birthday, from cruising in the past this is by far the worst we have been on. Carnival says that it is updated when it is clearly not, rust all over rooms and old beds and sheets. Service was the worst part about the ship, the stewards don't even change the sheets we had old blood stains that were not even ours!! soap was never changed, ...
