Very Disappointed After 8 Carnival Cruises
"Some stretches of time while on the deck the music selection was poor at best and nothing close to prior Carnival cruises we’ve experienced. There were no deck parties like that on this cruise...."Read More

My parents and I have been cruising with carnival now for quite a few years all 3 of us being platinum members this was my 26th cruise and my parents 35th now seeing carnival has started to nickel and dime for every single little thing a lot has changed from our perspective and you’d think the last people you’d want to short are your loyal guests who are frequent return cruisers highly considering ...

I have sailed on this ship before. What I remember the first time was excellent. You asked a crew member for something and they got it for you. I have been on many cruises with other cruise lines. They all have there good and bad. This trip I asked for items that they had and when i asked for it I was told they didnt service it up here. After nicely talking to a stripped officer they took ...

I have traveled Carnival before but this cruise had a few disappintments. The spa ia located beneath a childrens play area which is definatley not relaxing. All through my massage, there was thumping and crazhing that was loud enough to rattle and shake the ceiling and walls. The spa area or the play area need to be relocated. Also the violen music, although relaxing at times, was played at all ...

Very Disappointed After 8 Carnival Cruises

My wife and I were dumbfounded while on our cruise to the Bahamas. Let me get the excursions out of the way. Freeport (otherwise known as the “Gas Station”), was disappointing. View from the ship once docked has a lot to be desired. The beach excursion was good. As others have posted, it is crowded but that didn’t bother us. Nassau was awesome! We took the Blue Lagoon excursion. You will ...

As new cruisers, three cruises so far, we have been sampling different cruise lines. Prior to our voyage on the Glory, out of New Orleans, we sailed on Norwegian's Breeze and Holland America's Nieu Stadtendam. All have been 7-day Caribbean cruises. Our first cruise was on Norwegian and we were in the Haven so we had our cruising indoctrination performed at the highest level. Cabins on all of our ...

Excursion Problem

The cruise was nice but on a shore excursion purchased on the ship we were taken to a Taquila tasting where we were sold a bottle of taquila without a label or tax stamp. The company had wrapped the bottle we purchased and we r did not discover the issue until we arrived at home. We have no idea how to obtain a $75.00 refund or how to notify authorities in Mexico. We notified Carnival of this ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Glory

Chose this itinerary based on only 14 day out of NOLA. Do not enjoy Jamaica anymore but wanted to experience Panama Canal and Limon Costa Rica. Really enjoy Bonaire as we love to snorkel at Klein Bonaire. We also became Platinum on Carnival this cruise and we’re eager to see what perks this would bring. The good: Embarkation was easy and though we arrived 30 min ahead of our appointed time ...

My Stateroom attendant Tony and Dining room Gusti Waiter was the best, I looked forward to seeing them everyday. They made my experience great. Although the food was not the best, i quickly learned to order over easy, hard fried or boiled eggs to get good ones. The scrambled eggs are horrible. on Lido, the pizza is horrible. Missing so many items I'm use to. The drinks were very watered down. ...

Not so Good

I hope that the difficulties Carnival had on this cruise were the result of the pandemic period, and that time will heal these issues, but this was the worst cruise I've ever been on. So many things, large and small...the ship couldn't go to to one of the scheduled ports (my favorite port) because of mechanical problems, folks we sailed with had no hot water for about a day, food was way below ...

Food not as good

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

Carnival crew members are always polite and almost always happy and friendly. That’s a big plus, of course. The food wasn’t as good on this cruise, IMO. My husband used to really enjoy the filet and lobster on the elegant nights, but they have moved those two entrees to separate nights now. We ate in the main dining room every night, but the only thing I had that was really good was the crab ...
