Parking cost was the first shock , 140 dollars ! But it was covered and very convenient. Getting on board was quick and easy , but we were confused as we were an hour early but we missed our group boarding time.
was watching the game and yelling who dat . Nobody would stop talking . The crew kept trying to say no phones .... Nobody could hear or see a thing. My first cruise and I came away ...
we flew from edinburgh to new orleans with delta ...first horrible experience,,stayed in nice hotel in new orleans,Boarded ship ..great ,quick and efficient no problems, cabin was a good size and was kept spotless by cabin crew no worries there but it was at front of ship and the engine noise on three nights was horrendous no sleep, never heard noises like it so make sure your cabin is towards the ...
Embarkation was quite smooth and quick. We had an ocean view cabin at the very front of the ship. The cabin was clean and our cabin steward was great. The ship's layout is okay but you can see that it is an older ship (inside and outside) that needs an overhaul. The food on this ship was not that great to me particularly breakfast on the Lido Deck. We ended up eating breakfast in the dining ...
Our Steward was great. Kept our room clean and tidy. Our dinner waiters were great. The biggest complaint I have with the dinning was cross contamination from the kitchen. I am highly allergic to all seafood! Anything that comes from the water! I informed the waiters from the start. I still have an allergic reaction every night. EVERY night I had to take Benadryl! So frustrating! This is a life ...
This was a waste of time and money. Entertainment was horrible and repetitious. Food was horrible even in the formal dining. Do not drink the water. Half of the bathrooms didn't work. Room was not properly cleaned daily. If you want to waste your money and time this is the cruise for you....
No real entertainment from the ship staff...
I will never go on another cruise again....
The ...
We're Carnival Cruise regulars - gold status - and just returned from a fabulous cruise to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel on Sunday, after first spending a week in New Orleans. The ship is definitely showing signs of age and wear, but who cares when the crew members are amazing, helpful, and downright friendly. From Made, our cabin steward (Deck 8, forward), to the staff at Guest ...
The cruise began by parking at Fulton Place in New Orleans. The shuttle service was very easy and convenient. Embarkation was quick and we passed through security without any problems. Our cabin was clean and ready by 1:30. Our cabin steward kept our cabin clean throughout the cruise but there was very little interaction with the steward. We had anytime dining and we ate most evenings at 5:45. Our ...
I chose this cruise to go to different ports than the ones I had already visited. Port wise, I was not disappointed. However, ship wise, it had it’s ups and downs. First off, it needs to be dry docked. There were men scraping and painting it while we were in port! One day we had to endure the cleaning of our balcony , and another day we had to exit our cabin so they could shampoo the carpet. ...
I have only been on 17 cruises but this will be the most memorable.
Had a good time on boat except when it came to the casino. Which is one of the reasons my husband and I go on carnival cruises.
Our Daughter had offer that she had free drinks in casinos even though she doesn’t play in there very much so she booked her a room and went along too on this one with my grandson and a ...
I chose this ship simply because it was the only porting out of new Orleans. If i had a chance to pick again. It would've been carnival dream or triumph which is carnival sunrise. The restaurants were basic..the only thing i enjoyed was the pizza. Normally i enjoy all restaurants, but not this go round. The food selection sucked. Oh yeah guys burger was absolutely amazing..including the ice cream ...
