Dirty, Boring, Poor Service, Bad Food

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

This was my first and last experience with Carnival. The first thing I noticed boarding the ship was how the staff did not interact well with the cruisers. The staff was kind and polite, but did not initiate any type of quality customer service. The ship is older and shows all the signs of wear and tear that are expected with an older ship. However, dirty is different than wear and tear. The ...

3 in a row on this particular boat in the last 6 months. I won't get into all of the specifics, but I am a platinum member a few weeks short of being diamond. I also cruise royal caribbean and norwegian. Here are a few things that happened. A few........I could write a lot more. 1st one - room flooded. Carnival left me in a room where floor was completely wet for two days. The room smelled ...

Sailed for a week on Carnival Glory. New Orleans, Bahamas, and back. 6 cruises under my belt. First off, the port. Confusion. Julia or the other dock? Stayed at Hilton by the river. Concierge said no problem, walk. Turns out it wad docked at Eratos St. Which is 1 block further south. You drag luggage thru a shopping mall. Julia St cruise port is only for Norwegian I think. oK. Get to Eratos ...

the ship needs sinking! Every cruise I have been on before you enter the restaurant your hands are sanitised -not on the Glory even if you wanted to the self-service sanitisers were empty. Te crew were very unhelpful and didn't know how to smile. The cruise director Cookie was really annoying. The self service restaurant on the lido deck was always tepid. The desserts was very poor -mostly ...

Embankment: Quick and easy. we did not have FTTF. We had a 12:30 check in time. We were on the ship and in our room by 01:15pm Review: My Wife and I have been on 8 cruises and we did the glory about 8yrs ago. First time back on Carnival We choose this cruise simply for the ports and timing. We’ve heard all the rumors and stories about Carnival and we hoped that it was just a few ...

CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES RIPPED ME OFF AND CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T CARE

Overall, I would NOT recommend Carnival Cruise Lines. The entertainment was less than average. The level of entertainment should be very high. This entertainment was cheesy. It was a lower level, like a dance recital level. We had a balcony state room near the spa. The room itself was small, and the bathroom was very small. The toilet smelled like urine. I asked for room service to ...

Wanted to go crusing again after 15 yrs.If this is the way Carnival offers a 7night vacation I'm out.I do have to say first of all,the 4 islands we visited made the difference for our vacation, and Carnivals private Island was a good start, but the overall Ship experience was not what we expected at all.To start the staff for the most part are over worked across the board, entertainment especially ...

Carnival Glory is not so glorious!

I gave this cruise 1 star, but only because there was no option to give ZERO stars. This is not our first cruise and not our first stay in a suite. We had a total of 39 people in our group that we gathered together for this particular cruise. That is 39 people that I personally asked to join us on the cruise. I worked on this vacation from January to June with Carnival. I linked everyone ...

AWful food. AWful rooms, smelled of urine and sweat. Very very rocky ride. We missed two out of four ports of call. Very expensive and disappointing. Spend your money elsewhere. When second port was cancelled, passengers scrambled to secure their own lounge chairs from the pile on the top deck. Added activiites for our "fun day at sea, included more shopping discounts. Yippee. Not. The ...

I'll start by saying that I am somewhat of a seasoned cruiser, I've cruised on ships big and small and to eastern/western Caribbean as well as Bermuda. I've been on 6 Royal Caribbean cruises and this was my second Carnival cruise. Booked on the Carnival Glory for Jan.7/2017 departure, 7 nights, 4 ports including Turks and Caicos (primary reason for booking this particular cruise). Originally ...
