Nice last minute cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

Booked a 7 night itinerary on the Glory as a last minute summer hurrah...glad we did. The Glory, although an older ship, was very nice. Clean attractive interior & fixtures, service was very accommodating. We enjoyed the Green Eggs & Ham/Dr. Seuss Breakfast offered to kids, pool decks were kept clean & dry. Dining room was great (late seating is the best); George & Wayan were our servers & both ...

This was my husband and kids 1st cruise experience and overall it was very good. The crew on the ship were very nice, respectful, helpful and informative. Our room was clean and seemed newly updated. I was very happy with our cabin. Dustin was our cruise director and he was very informative and he definitely knew how to do his job and he always tried to get the crowd going. which he succeeded. ...

Amazing dining room staff and cabin steward

This was my first cruise I enjoyed it. The most amazing dinning room staff. We had an exceptional waiter. The cabin steward was extremely helpful and nice. Clean rooms, clean ship and most of the staff were friendly, but as always there are bad apples. The staff at the funshops were rude, not all but many of them during special sales. The sales staff in jewelry shop during a sale were rude ...

Nice ship but needs some minor adjustments

We chose the Glory because the sail date fit our schedule. Overall it was a nice ship. Our balcony room would have been excellent if the AC worked. We couldn't open our curtain or the room would be unbearable. Below are a few observations about our trip: * Faster to the Fun is worth every penny * Our room steward was fantastic * Guy's Burger is the best restaurant on the ship. * ...

FANTASTIC SERVICE! Our cabin steward was awesome always bringing us fresh towels, ice, and making our birthday cruise special. Check-in was a breeze. The ship is definitely looking older but still kept up. The best part of the cruise was the ports of call. St. Thoms and Half moon cay being the highlights. I highly suggest renting an ATV (as long as your comfortable driving on the left hand side of ...

Nice ship with a few flaws

We've been on 15 cruises -12 on CCL. For reference, we'll be platinum on our Vista cruise in July, so we purchased FTTF for this last one. We also had cheers (yes, worth it for us). Just got off the Glory - here's my impression. First time on this particular ship. We were married during a cruise on the Liberty, a sister ship, several years ago. Food: MDR was short of disappointing. We went ...

Wonderful cruise once we were boarded

I am a platinum guest with Carnival, so I usually book through Carnival to receive my perks. Embarkation was very disorganized. I boarded in Miami and was taken to the VIP lounge. Usually when boarding they announce Diamond members, Platinum members and then the FTTF guests. Boarding early is suppose to be one of the perks for a diamond or platinum guest. This time they just said all board now ...

We chose this cruise as a surprise trip for my husbands retirement. We enjoyed ourself. The only down side was waiting in line to board ship for 2 hours and being shuttled to Carnivals island by boat. The dining in the evening was always good with great service. The entertainment was average but enjoyable. Our room was always kept clean with fresh towels and turn down service. Morning room ...

We chose this cruise because it was my mothers 60th birthday. We have only sailed once previously on the Sensation in 2006. I was considerably younger, and do not remember a lot of comparisons from that cruise. That being said, embarkation went okay. We set our time for 2:30 to board, and arrived at 10 am. We we kind of shocked that there was nothing to do at the terminal besides sit in the ...

Went on Cruise for the Islands. Loved San Juan the old city and the fort is Interesting. Grand Turks is very beautiful. Loved Jimmy Buffets grounds and pools. The ship needs some updating in the buffet. The food , the meat is very good. The fish most of the time is good and the Hamburger's are excellent. The wait staff is very good. Some of the food can be improved. Lots of activates ...
