It was my 65th birthday and we invited cousins/friends to come with us. They were virgin cruisers. This was our 5th cruise and the rockiest ship we have ever been on. Everyone walked like they were drunk for days, bouncing off the walls in the corridors from morning to night. This was the smoothest embarkation and disembarkation I have ever experienced. The staff on the ship truly enjoy their jobs. They always have a warm smile and a Hello each day. We took advantage of an offer for half price on our next cruise, due to a mishap with Carnival Splendor in 2017. Fortunately, we got the same type of stateroom that we had on Splendor, corner on the aft, L-shape balcony.

We took 35 relatives on a 7 day cruise in the Bahamas. Overall Carnival is a good value for the money. the staff in general is very polite considerate and helpful - helpful only if it falls within there area of allowable assistance - i.e. the cabin attendant can bring you extra towels.

This was a girls cruise. I’ve been on Freedom and Liberty so I’m familiar with the conquest class ship.

Embarkation and Disembarkation - very smooth and efficient
Ship - Dated and needs upgrades but okay
VERY SMALL pools, and loaded with kids - we spent ALL of our time on board, when sunning on the Serenity Deck - very crowded and people DO save all the hammocks and rounds loungers - and then leave for hours - not enforced
