The bed was really firm, which was something that really bothered me and I had a difficult time sleeping through out the trip. We are really hoping to check out more ships that have modern decor. We were in cabin 7323, an interior category 4F cabin with 185 square feet. This is one of the largest interior cabins we have been in. (For comparison, Celebrity's interior cabins run closer to 170 square feet). We were located near the center of the ship, on the Empress Deck 7. Our interior cabin on this deck was accessed from the Port hallway. The cabin was extremely well laid out. Lots of drawers and enough room in the closets for our clothes. The bathroom has lots of room, storage, and a shower. Our cabin also had a desk and a pair of tables. Hangers and robes were provided. The desk featured a number of informational brochures including Tuesday's event newsletter "Carnival Fun Times". Our stateroom attendant (Hernando) and his assistant did a wonderful job throughout our cruise. Of note, we found the inside cabins really easy to sleep in. Since there is no window, the room stays dark --- making it really easy to sleep late or take a nap any time of day. It's also very quiet. Read Less

Our cabin was on deck 7 no noise above did hear engine so e times and felt boat moving but not bad. It was small but I found there to be lots of closets and plenty of room under the beds since they are slightly risen. I would strongly recommend a hinge lock on the top of the door so people can't get in our out, my son was constantly opening the door and running out. Also very Lou's in the halls at night next time I would go more toward one end of the ship and lower for a quieter hall, we were in the middle of the boat. Super loud until 1am! Read Less

unfortunately nearly all the newer ships have smaller inside cabins than outside. since we pretty much just sleep there, we continue to get insides. 7441 was nice because it had cabins above and below and no service stuff nearby. no problems with noise or neighbor's noise. basically room for walking around the bed and that's it. between the desk drawers and closet it was enough for our clothes and the 4 suitcases fit under the bed. new flat screen tv was nice and you can check your account from it. we emptied the minibar and used the fridge for our own soda and we had ice at least 2x a day after asking just once. bathroom is tight but a lot of shelves and the hair drier will get your hair dry. it seemed typical small size for any modern ship in a standard room. mattress seemed firm (I'm a side sleeper) but never had a back problem. linens and towels always clean and fresh. Certainly small, but there was enough space. That's because the beds are raised enough so we could store the suitcases under the bed. I wondered what it would be like with a windowless cabin, but it wasn't a problem at night. We left the light on in the bathroom and left the door cracked so we could make our way around. We had enough closet space and hangers, and the bathroom was functional. I found it interesting to turn the television when we were in port in Norfolk and see Miami television stations! All in all, no problem with the room. A balcony room would be nice, but I would rather apply the cost saving to shore excursions or onboard activities. Read Less

7402: great size! Good location for access to AFT pool and Red Sail Restaurant. The room was quiet. You may hear the elevator bells but it never happened late or too early.

Very quiet, the only thing we heard was other passengers passing by the door occasionally. The bathroom had a very faint bad odor all week.
