Inside stateroom with twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our ships all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
The room size and location was perfect for us. However the room itself was not up to the standard of a suite or even a regular cabin. There was dust/dirt covering the trim above the desk mirrors and on closet shelves. The couch was dirty. I used my own Lysol wipes to clean actual dirt and scuffs off of the couch. The carpet and bedspread were both threadbare, stained and generally gross. The Carnival Comfort Beds were anything but. They were lumpy and obviously way past needing to be replaced. The bidet (we never used it) had some kind of problem where it made a loud, gurgling noise...all day and all night. We told our cabin steward about it three times and three times he assured us he would have someone from maintenance fix it. It remained broken until the day we left. Read entire member review >>
Very similar to other suites on other lines we have been on. Very nice bed and linens, great service. The AC does not keep the room cool, other lines, we could adjust temperature to our preference, not Carnival's, they do this to save money, but for a Suite it annoyed us.
The sound from the hallway was something else we had never encounter. They were kids running up and down and you could hear things we had never encountered before.
Plenty of storage, great bathroom, two sinks, no special amenities like Spa quality products.
Nice big windows and balcony, had them clean the outside of the windows and make the view much better.
TV needs working on, a few pay per view movies, quality of picture not very good, and 2 free movie channels, with really old movies. Read entire member review >>
The room is awesome. We had four people in the room almost the whole time and we had plenty of room. The closets light up which make it easy to find everything. The bathroom is huge. We did not fill up all of the drawers or closets. We could sit on our couch and look out at the ocean and had lots of room on the balcony for all of us.The rooms do not have much in the basket of freebies that everyone talked about. Ours only had a toothpaste and a hand cream. When you use the free stuff they do not add more. If you need wet things to dry just leave them in the bathroom, everything dried quickly. The room was very clean, but when in the jacuzzi you cannot help, but notice a lot of little things could use a new coat of paint. The suite does give you two plugs instead of one which with power strips gives you lots of room for charging batteries. Read entire member review >>
