Oceanview stateroom with a private balcony and twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
The cabin was nice, had plenty of room for the 3 of us, this included a child. Sofa/bed was vinyl and it was very beat up... some tears and worn out. The chair in the room was also very worn out, it was good for garbage heap. The bed was good but I really liked the pillows and blankets, very comfortable. The balcony was nice to have, having that natural light was fantastic. Read entire member review >>
A good cabin. very clean and lots of space. older but ok. Decor brown bit boring, but ok. Balcony was a plus. Love them , only way to go. Cabin steward was amazing. Top service all the way. Extremely good. Would recommend, Good hot water anytime. water flow was great. Read entire member review >>
Great location. It is close to everything. We loved coming back from excursions, and being right by the food to grab a quick bite to eat. There was a little noise from the band in the lobby at night, but very minimal, and the band doesn't usually play past 10pm. Read entire member review >>
Good solid balcony cabin. Near elevators, but there is a huge wall between cabins and elevator so you can't hear them at all.
This is s a four person room. My wife and I slept on the king size bed quite comfortably. 18 year old daughter on the sofa bed (made up by the steward daily).
My 10-year old son slept on the pull down bed, but kept scaring us to death because he is a "roller" at night. So we pulled the mattress down off the pullman each night and it fits right on the floor below, so no problem. Each morning we'd put it back on the pullman, so the steward didn't have to deal with it. Read entire member review >>
Large enough for our party of three, but the A/C was in a continuous state of struggle and couldn't keep up unless the room was empty. It wasn't ever hot in the room, but compared to the other 24 cabins we've inhabited it was lacking in air flow. The best part of the cruise was our cabin steward - everything was always squared away and he never bugged us but was always available if we needed anything. He was definitely one of the better ones we've had. The worst part of the cabin was the location - it was immediately above the live band on the Promenade deck below. They did quit playing promptly at midnight, but it was jarring prior to that. Forget quiet time in the late morning or early afternoon as well, as this was when trivia questions were being belted out. As far as getting around the ship the location of the cabin was ideal, but go for the port side instead and leave this cabin for the unsuspecting. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was fine. Our stateroom attendant was very attentive and polite and called us by name. Samples were not given in the shell bowl in the bathroom during the entire trip. Bar soap was provided. Shampoo and body wash in the shower were fine. Balcony was washed during one of our port days. We had a different towel animal nightly. We removed the contents of the refrigerator and used it for personal items. Read entire member review >>
Good location and better than I expected. I thought the noise from the Lido deck activities and elevators would be an issue. But, they were not. However, I think my preferred stateroom deck is 7. Read entire member review >>
We thought that being that close to the pool area would be noisy, however we were pleasantly surprised. There was no noise carry over at all, and we were a very short walk to the pool which was excellent. Our cabin steward Jay made sure that everything was clean and he made a genuine effort to ensure the we were satisfied. Read entire member review >>
This was a balcony stateroom on Lido Deck 9. It was roomy, very comfortable, with more than adequate storage for this solo traveler. The bathroom was just fine for me, and I had no problems with this room. I love balcony staterooms, and the higher in the ship I can get, the better. The convenience of walking right out of your room and out onto the Lido Deck/pools/food/bars was worth the extra money. I usually book a room on Deck 10 because I was worried about the noise of the Lido Deck, but noise was never an issue. Read entire member review >>
I packed quite a lot of clothing since I didn't know whether to expect chilly or warm weather and found that there was more than enough storage space for all our things. My husband uses a CPAP machine for sleep apnea and there was nowhere to plug in the machine by the bed. Luckily I brought my own extra long extension cord and was able to plug it into the only existing outlet visible which was above the tabletop bureau. I would prefer a shorter/smaller sitting couch in the room in order to facilitate a few more inches of room for the small bedside tables. The one in front of our window was so close to the window that the curtains kept getting caught on the table and lamp. The serenity deck would be better if it were located aft. It's just too far away from mid and aft ship for most seniors to comfortably walk to. Read entire member review >>
Lots of room for my insane amount of clothing. Balcony was a nice size. Very clean. Very very quiet location as there are not many rooms on this deck. Couldn't feel a lot of movement. As this was a Canada cruise, the foghorn could be heard in the room clearly as we were on deck 10 with a balcony. Read entire member review >>
Just off elevators, good for accessibility with scooter. Close to pools, buffet, and balcony was cozy. Shower nicer than I expected and was good and hot always. Music from Atrium plays loudly until 11:00 or 12:00 every night, which is very audible in room. The ambient noise helped me to sleep, but it could keep others awake. Our mobility scooter fit comfortably in the room, just had to negotiate the narrow doorway and the raised threshold. Read entire member review >>
we have had a balcony room on most sailings, this one too on spa deck. standard room, but, the beds had a larger than normal hump where they were pushed together. our cab steward, gerald, highlight of the trip, tried to fix it but no lucky. remember, bring a power strip because you get but one plug... Great view! Room is a little smaller compared to other cruise lines. Shampoo and Body wash are availble. No conditioner. Balcony has 2 chairs and a small table. Didn't feel cramped. Read entire member review >>
1042 - great balcony, far enough away from the elevators that we didn't hear any of the noise associated with the elevators. Nice size bathroom, plenty of storage, comfy beds with nice comforters.
Downfall....I felt the room was too warm (I like it cold at night) however I was told that that zone was in the comfort range. Read entire member review >>
Very noisy. Too close to the elevators. You hear the dinging all night long. Also, it's near where people part so it's not odd to hear discussions or load talking at 1:30 or 2 am. Read entire member review >>
Panorama deck - enjoyed being up high. Didn't feel any extra motion. However, our neighbors were noisy - just bad luck. Didn't notice much running in the hallway since there weren't many rooms on that deck, and we were in the forward cabins. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 9284 - Balcony - standard, clean, very convenient to Lido Deck with no worry of "noise overspill". However, do not book this cabin for the Canadian itinerary. Our fault for not researching this prior to booking but it's not an itinerary for which having a balcony is an advantage...better to save the money and reserve an unobstructed ocean view for this itinerary. The cabin space wasn't too bad. There's plenty of closet space and enough drawer space for clothes of two people. Our room was on Deck 10, right across from a crew door, which could be heard slamming early in the morning, as the crew got ready for the day's work. This location near the elevators was close to some stairs outside going to the Lido Deck, but we weren't disturbed by anything going on outside there. No problem with foot traffic too much, unless it was close to midnight, and people were returning to their cabins after drinking alcohol. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was roomy enough for the 2 of us, our children had a separate cabin. The only problem or complaint on the whole cruise was that the AC didn't keep the cabin cool. It was hard to sleep some nights because of being warm. My wife is a cold natured person, and she was HOT!!! Read entire member review >>
