Oceanview stateroom with a private balcony and twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
First cabin was directly above the Casino Bank stage. Stewart, who we never met, did a good job. Second cabin was same layout and Sanjay our Stewart did a great job and was very helpful. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was average in balcony size. Had plenty of closet space, couch seemed larger than on other ships. Balcony was a good size, able to sit out, stretch out and move around comfortably. Bathroom area just as small as average ;) Read entire member review >>
The cabin was nice and in a great location, one deck below Lido but far enough forward that I didn't get the Lido deck noise. It also was one of the few cabins that had a curtain that actually blocked most of the light coming in from outside. Read entire member review >>
Our room was in a great spot - On the Lido Deck - Forward, Port side, close to the elevators and the self-serve laundry but far enough away that we were not disturbed by their use. I personally love being close to the Lido restaurant for those early morning coffees, croissants and fresh fruit. No need to ever order room service when you can just step outside and help yourself. Plus, close to the seaside theatre for those late night movies. 9258 is a balcony room with a sofa bed for a 3rd person. Ideal for our 10 year old daughter but I'm not sure how comfortable the sofa bed would be for a teen or adult guest. Carnival recently changed their smoking policies so that all rooms and balconies are non-smoking. I was worried how my husband would find this (he is the only smoker - but being able to smoke on the balcony was one of the benefits of having one) but in fact he found going to the smoking area on Deck 10 nearby was a great way to socialize and meet others. Room was clean...could use an update. Balcony between 805 and 809 CANNOT be opened....doors are on the wrong side.....they won't open this so don't let them tell you that you can open the door and join these two rooms via the balcony. Read entire member review >>
6216 Great cabin with balcony. Full window views from bed. Lots of closet and drawer space. Quiet location near from of ship. Balcony great for 2 to drink and watch sunset. Would seek this one out again. Read entire member review >>
Perfect 8th deck balcony cabin 8267 located too close to elevators over lobby so music rose up 5 decks and we could hear it in our room along with elevators opening and closing. Other than that, room had plenty of storage, beds were comfortable, nice free products in bathroom, shower curtain shower adequate if not as nice as Norwegian sliding glass doors. Flat screen TV, needs more outlets for charging equipment. Plenty of room for 3 adults. Read entire member review >>
Cabins: Our cabin (#7405) was very nice and very close to the aft elevators. We liked this location a lot because the buffet is on deck 9 aft, as well as the specialty coffees. Read entire member review >>
Room 8265 is a good balcony cabin in a very bad location. It is right outside the glass elevators and the live music in the lobby bar and the elevator chimes can be heard until midnight. If you retire before that time it will be very noisy. Read entire member review >>
We were in room 8401. This cabin is quite noisy as you have the pool deck above you. About midnight every night, you could hear them moving chairs around and whatever else they were doing up there. The room is a standard carnival room with a balcony. It's in the middle of the ship which was nice, the view was great. The room had plenty of space I thought, for three people. Three closets, two tiny drawers (one you can't use) and two larger drawers. I felt comfortable with the space. The Air conditioning is terrible in this room. If you get hot easily, this is not a room for you. If your cold natured...bingo :). The toilet always had a black ring in it and the shower clogged and over flowed twice on our cruise. The door lock on the bathroom door would stick occasionally, and the toilet flush button did not work from time to time Read entire member review >>
Standard balcony cabin, just fine. Great balcony, lots of shelves in the bathroom for toiletries, good shower. 45 seconds from cabin door to nearest coffee station in the Red Sail restaurant. Read entire member review >>
We had a balcony room in the 8340's and the room was nice, a bit tight with four people but manageable. The balcony was TINY and there is no bathtub. This is the third cruise I've taken in a balcony room and the first with no tub! Read entire member review >>
8D Balcony cabin located just below the Lido Deck. Lot of chair scraping noises at all hours from the deck above. Cabin service staff very good and the cabin was clean but poorly maintained. The flat screened TV information system is mostly useless. The shower clogged the first day but the plumber was there within an hour to unclog it. He was a very busy guy as we saw this same plumber on numerous occasions with his bag of tools in the passageway. Read entire member review >>
Our balcony room 8416 was under the Lido dining hall, but that particular area is carpeted so we did not hear overhead chair movement there as other have complained about. This was the last cabin available on this deck for three persons, so I had some reservations that it might be a noisy cabin. Our cabin was right outside of the elevator bank and stair area. This is a convenient location, but as one might expect there is some noise generated from the hall areas. Most guests are considerate but a few late night partiers made some loud hall conversations at late hours that woke me up. But all in all it worked out fine. We brought along ear blocks, but we never felt the need to use them. The all night Pizza station is also close to this room, but again that was not a problem for us, we did hear any noise from them. Our cabin was spacious, had plenty of storage, and was kept immaculately clean by housekeeping staff. Unfortunately, the space filler between the matresses was a bit lumpy and required some navigating. One important note: our cabin was on Deck 8, directly underneath the Red Sail seating area adjacent to the midship pool and Jumbotron. The chairs scraping on the wood floors of the dining area can be heard -- LOUDLY -- on the ceiling of the Deck 8 rooms beneath. One night, it was unbelievably loud and continued unabated well after midnight. As it turned out, maintenance was washing and buffing the floors of the dining area, and was moving chairs by dragging them across the floor. As soon as I went upstairs and mentioned the noise, however, it stopped. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was great! There was little traffic so far forward. Room Steward was the best we've ever had! It was also neat to be able to see up into the bridge but the bridge did block many of the photo opportunities looking forward from the balcony. Read entire member review >>
6th floor near the rear casino elevators - can hear music from the casino between 9 and midnight in the room - loud! We thought it was our neighbors!
Otherwise a great cabin and convenient to everything. Perfect and plenty of room for two people. Read entire member review >>
Great location. Easy access to the main deck and restaurant. Far enough away to not hear the noises of the Lido deck. As private of a balcony as you can get. (Only neighbors peering around the divider could see in.) Room was very nice and large enough for 2 people. I was very glad I picked this room. Read entire member review >>
Great location, the twin size beds were small, old, and felt like they had body indentations in them. The balcony light did not work. The public address system did not work well in room, could not hear announcements. We did not hear any noise. We had a great room steward. Read entire member review >>
8266/68/70 - a bit too close to the atrium elevators. We could hear the elevators "ding" when they arrived all night, and some loud conversations in the atrium area. Below other cabins, but very close to Lido pool and buffet. Read entire member review >>
We were pleased with our balcony cabins - on the port side of ship forward on the Lido deck. During a warmer time of year on this cruise I would choose starboard because you do get sun most of the day on the balcony. There was some motion but nothing unusual but we do not suffer from motion issues. It was quiet having cabins both above and below. The location on the Lido deck was excellent - no fighting for an elevator to get to pools, buffet, etc... Also there are self serve laundry facilities on this floor. Read entire member review >>
