Do not be afraid of this ship. I went last year for 4 nights and came back for 7. It was ust as good as last year and I had a great time. Our room was never bad, comfortable and very very quiet !. the food was good, never a issue. The signature restaurant is a MOST GO ! unbelievably wonderful. My husband had the Lobster Ravioli and expected little flat pockets. What he got- 3 5 inch towers filled ...

This was our second cruise, but the first with Carnival. We have heard a fair bit about Carnival since booking and a good portion was not good. The main purpose of of trip was rest and relaxation. We booked the Carnival ground transportation from Laguardia to the ship and when we picked up our luggage the rep was no where to be found. The reps from the other cruise lines were all there, lined up ...

First of all let me say that my wife and I are veteran travelers of cruises and we are platinum on carnival. They certainly call them "The Fun Ships" for a reason. We enjoyed a four day stay in New York prior to departing on our cruise and New York can be confusing if you let it be. Enough said about that. Our cruise was awesome. Our journey began with a speedy embarkation (about 30 minutes) and ...

MOST FUN EVER ON A CARNIVAL!!!

So to start, I am going to just say that I always be a loyal Carnival Cruiser. The experience that myself, including the people that came with me, was something we will never forget. We have sailed twice with Royal Caribbean and much enjoyed our trips, so when money was tight we decided to give Carnival a try. Knowing Carnival cruises were cheaper than most, we boarded the ship without knowing ...

I have cruised many times on Carnival with my husband and adult children and have also had the opportunity to cruise with NCL over the years. I've found that with any cruise line, travelers need to take some things in stride. If they do, they will never be disappointed in a Carnival cruise. don't expect a lounge chair to be waiting for you poolside especially after 12 pm, don't ever expect the ...

Took us by surprise --- on the good side

This is actually a very positive review, read on. We sailed with CC a few years ago and that left a very bad taste in our mouths, literally. Food was horrible, the staff was just average and we would have never travel with CC ever again. The recent incidents of the cruise being stranded added to the horror show. We booked the trip with Carnival Glory since the price is right for a family of 4. ...

Carnival Glory 5 night Canada Cruise

After a really AMAZING 8 night cruise in May on the Carnival Splendor, my boyfriend and I decided we HAD to go on another Carnival cruise before the summer was over. With my tight schedule, we could only fit in a shorter cruise, and the Carnival Glory 5 night to Canada fit the bill. Neither of us really cared about seeing Canada, and we took this cruise in hopes of meeting new people and having a ...

Part I - Precruise A. Inception We chose the Carnival Glory since they were the only ship sailing to New England in July when we wanted to travel there. This is our first time on Carnival. We have previously sailed on Princess to Alaska, and Celebrity to several destinations. Our group of 15 family members were here for a reunion in celebration of my mother's "diamond" birthday. B. Although we normally cruise the Caribbean in the winter, my husband and I wanted something a little different, so we chose this itenerary for July as we had been to none of the ports, except Boston. Flew in a day early and hunkered down at the Best Western Adams Inn in Quincy, a good choice if you're not planning to sightsee in Boston. They have a free airport pick-up and free shuttle to the ...
