This cruise was most notable for the weather - it was cold, windy, and wet for most of the cruise. Really the only beautiful day was our Half Moon Cay day - so that was nice. But the seas were quite rough most of the time (it's great the ship has stabilizers) too. So overall, if you are looking for warmth and beautiful sunny days - just be aware you might not get them at this time of year. ...

My wife chose this cruise for her 50th birthday. It was fun and we missed half moon cay due too the weather and that was a bummer so we spent more time in Grand Turk which was fun. 1st we had a famtastic time however there were a few things that we did not like. I called to book the drink package and was told to call back. This was an Ultra cruise out of Baltimore. We chose it because we are gamblers and the port is only a five hour drive away. We stayed at Best Western in Baltimore only a few miles from the port. We choose this cruise specifically for the destination, we didnt disagree with the captian changing the destination based on safety concerns with the weather but dont feel we were sufficiently conspensated for that change as a cruise to freeport would have been much cheaper.
