Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

My steward was amazing, but I will never cruise again. I feel like we spent our entire vacation waiting in lines. Whether it be waiting for a drink, waiting for food, waiting to get off the ship, waiting for an elevator, waiting in line for our excursion, or waiting in a line to get back to the ship/ on the ship after an extremely short excursion… I feel that my money would have been better spent ...

Carnival is obviously struggling to pay off its debt from the pandemic. I have never been on a cruise where there was so much disorganization, poor customer service, weary employees, ineffective systems, and general apathy. The Carnival Hub app is not very good. It does not show OBC at the onset of a cruise. It does not automatically transfer casino credits to your account. It does not ...

What a Ship!

It was our first cruise on an Excel style ship. We loved the "Zones". The Grand Central was quite a different style from what we have ever seen before. The variety of food selection was awesome. We really liked that the buffet was set up more efficiently and the location of Guys Burgers separate from the Lido was so much better. Not near as crowded to get a burger. The only complaint I had was ...

No Jubilee, just Jubi low.

Jubilee is too big, too disorganized. Lido deck was not planned, well. The 2 level bar on lido blocks the outdoor screen. If you want eat outside the area has slotted walls up which means you can’t see the lido pool area, the screen, seats are uncomfortable. The buffet food was bland and seemed like the same thing everyday. Bathrooms too small, because of the large shower, which is ...

EMBARKATION AND DEBARKATION Bad Very disorganized, needs better signage in the building and outside for shuttle drop off areas FOOD IN DINING ROOMS Okay Tasty and well presented, however serving sizes were weird (big pieces of meat, hardly any vegetables) FOOD SERVICE IN DINING ROOMS AND SIT DOWN RESTAURANTS Not So Good Staff seemed overwhelmed, looked like there needed to ...

At first, we were really disappointed with the Dream. Then, things kind of turned around a little during the final sea days. The good things: -- The ship and staterooms seemed very clean. -- The Alchemy Bar was a kick. Engaging, professional bartenders. Good drinks (although not cheap at $14 for a cocktail). -- The Bonsai Japanese restaurant was one of our favorites. The food and ...

I was reluctant to cruise Carnival again due to past experiences. However, due to my better judgement I gave Carnival one final chance with their brand new ship. I assumed, that a new ship in the first month of sailing, everything should be tip top. Was I mistaken. We shall start with the embarkation. It was a complete cluster from the minute we were dropped off at the port via the shuttle ...

First Cruise and Birthday Trip Bummer

Partner booked our very first cruise for my birthday. The day of my birthday we were set to be on shore, so we decided to do the sea turtle excursion as I have a tattoo of one and have never been able to meet one. It was set to be super special. We're not rich by any means, so this was a hefty sum for us to spend on an experience. While the food was amazing in the steakhouse that you have to ...

Horrible service the boat has a sewage leak and the whole time we were gone our shower filled with grey water. Stinking up the room. Never could get our cards to scan so the sail and sign was a problem. The rats chewing and scratching in the walls were a thing. When u ask about any of it they brush you off. Paid for the bingo and won a prize to be told it was givin to another guest because of my ...

This was an extended family and friend's cruise. We have all been on other cruise lines. Some of us cruise more often than others, but all have been on at least six cruises over the past few years. I would say that, overall, we enjoyed the trip, but getting used to the Carnival "fun" took a couple of days. My first reaction to the open areas was, "Wow, this is like the mall used to be at Christmas ...
