Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Good cruise, terrible cabin

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

We chose this because it was kid friendly and last minute time off from work. I picked a suite. Even though it was on the lower level I felt a little better just because we were bringing a two year old with us and he’s a climber. Everyone is very nice on the Vista and the older portions of the craft were being maintained properly it feels like. I have one very very large complaint!!!!!!! The ...

Some of the best service experienced on a Carnival cruise

First of all the ship may be older but it was definitely clean. There were staff everywhere cleaning the windows, bannisters, up on the Lido, etc. Everyone had a smile, Our dinner service was amazing. We were scheduled for anytime dining. We sat at table # 100 in the Crimson Restaurant. We were served by Richard, Alberto and Lorenz. Richard was the lead waiter and managed our table service ...

Be sure and arrive at your designated time, you don’t want to get in the longer early or late line. If you bring on a small ice chest, no ice or water allowed, bring freezer packs. Cans only is the rule now days. If you don’t have faster to the fun, expect to keep your carry on luggage with you when you go to the spa for a tour, or to the busy lunch buffet. You can get access to your room at ...

We chose this particular cruise because it left out of a port we could all access fairly easily by car AND seemed like a good fit for the children and teenagers in our group. Also, a couple of the adults in our party very much wanted to do some gambling as well. The "Dream" seemed to have it all. We were not disappointed. The ship was lively and full of fun activities and different dining choices. ...

This is our first time on Carnival Vista - 11th cruise in total. We have been on several Carnival ships, Holland America, Princess, Norwegian and Celebrity. Our favorite by far was the Celebrity Reflection. I have to say that Vista is a close second and close tie with Norwegian Bliss. What I like with Vista are: - Huge value - Beautiful and clean ship. It has not aged much. - ...

(First, thank you to all who post!) We were a family of 7 with 3 children. This ship has soooo much to do for all ages! Kudos to the kids' Ocean Club, the water/sports activities, and the entire staff. Generally, we all loved the experience on being on Carnival's newest ship. IMHO: PROs: Spacious interior cabin Amazing kids' activities and programs. Lots of sports and ...

Carnival Vista, all 1,061 feet of her, is spectacular and a wonderful addition to Carnival’s family. We had the pleasure of calling her home for 7 days. This is my assessment of the Carnival Vista. Carnival Vista makes her home in Galveston, Texas. We came from Idaho, so we were lucky enough to fly into IAH in Houston. We were aware of the distance between the airport and Galveston, but ...

Graduation celebration cruise for the kids - our 2nd cruise and won't be our last. Embarkation in Galveston was fantastic again. Drop off to on deck in under an hour. The Freedom was nice but we all preferred the Valor more (just a more beautifully decorated and themed ship despite the same layout). Service, food, and entertainment were all good. Nothing stood out as fantastic or negative, ...

Amazing cruise for our second cruise

We chose this cruise for our 2nd cruise. After taking a 5 day cruise, we chose this 7 day to see what we missed out on. The port itinerary was also a factor in our choice. Seeing Roatan, Belize and Cozumel was great. In our travels, we really try to find a load of fun but also we try to find places we can learn about and explore. We live about 2 hours away so we drove to the home port. No ...

My husband and I have cruise with Carnival many many times never a bad cruise. All though there are things that can be done defiantly our vacation was amazing. Embarkation was easy with no issues got right on the ship we were early for our embarkation there was no problems. Disembarkation was a slap in the face that our vacation was over ( not Carnivals fault) we were in line for 2 and half ...
