Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

Carnival Vista is free for all. This is hands down the worst ship I have ever been on. Carnival, what happened to the standards? The muster drill was done over a loudspeaker announcement because 300 people chose not to check in at the assigned station… My spa balcony room has bugs! Carnival does nothing --- they don’t acknowledge bugs. So be prepared for this. They investigate and tell ...

Traveled as a Family with older children. 24, 21, 18, and 15 I would not recommend families with small children. There are not enough activities for younger children. There were too many people and not enough staff in the right places. There was little organization in the embarking and disembarking at ports and activities for the number of people on the ship. The crew did not appear happy to ...

Not Friendly for the Whole Family

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

I chose this cruise for the value it provided at the time. It was a decent price for all that was supposed to be included. However, once boarding, that value vanished. My party included my wife (32) and daughter (2) and I (31). All three of us hated it. First, our room was little more than a closet with a Queen Sized King bed which was supposed to be enough space four four people they ...

Worst Cruise Line Ever

Absolutely the worst experience of my life. My wife, daughter and I check in at the desk ready for our cruise only to find out they do not accept Real ID like it says on their website. No one from their organization told me. Make sure you bring a Birth Certificate or Passport. That's all you can bring. My wife and daughter went on the cruise. First, it was overcrowded. There were 4300 passengers ...

Worst cruise ever!!

We just got back from sailing on the Carnival Breeze June 16th with our family of 5. The embarkation was great but that is the only positive thing about this cruise ship. The food was absolutely terrible. Pigs Anchor is only open from 11:30-1:30. Blue Iguana is only open 2 hours for breakfast and 2 hours for lunch. The food in the main dining room is already precooked so they just warm it up ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

While the crew were kind and gracious, this simply could not make up for the lack of functional air conditioning for DAYS on end and the fact that the ship was absolutely packed so there was no relief from the sweltered overcrowding. I am from Arizona - so I was looking forward to a COOL, ocean vacation. This simply did not happen with this ship. Moreover, due to the number of people on board, ...

The lack of good service on this cruise was ridiculous! Workers pushing carts would plow you down if you didn’t get out of the way! Who ever shouted the loudest got served next at bars because there was no orderly que. The much-marketed Guy Fieri BBQ restaurant was closed most of the days of our cruise. The food in the buffet was horrible…it was over cooked or undercooked, meat or chicken was ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

I chose this particular cruise and cruise line for the Montego Bay and Grand Cayman itinerary. Only after getting on board were we notified that one of the engines was not working and the Grand Cayman port was completely canceled. And the time in Montego Bay and Cozumel were cut in half. We were given a $50 cruise credit to make up for it. What an insult after spending $2,000 on the cruise ...

Have been on this ship prior to pandemic and it was wonderful. Booked at last minute and was excited that we could once again sail on this great ship. Surprise, Surprise!!! Was aware that ship was having some so called minor issues with propulsion but was not ready for actual experience. We left Galveston ahead of Carnival Breeze but suddenly, the Breeze was far ahead of us and knew ...

1. 3 ½ hour embarkation – standing on your feet in the sun in long line with bags 2. No food onboard upon embarkation 3. No instructions for muster 4. Safety briefing provided while guests are mustering - hence only half of the passengers get to hear them 5. Standing in line for 33 minutes to get 2 spoons of food 6. Food Manager Vikas Beri is Missing in Action 7. Location of ...
