Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Freedom

This was our 5th Carnival cruise. We selected this cruise because of the destinations and the fact that we wanted to experience New Year's Eve at sea. We were placed in a Handicapped room on the Lido Deck. 9291. Because it was a handicapped room, it has a giant bathroom and a smaller sleeping area as a result. It was a bed and a walkway around it and that's it. The cabin has a hallway on 3 ...

Carnival Breeze Embark from Galveston 7 day Western Caribbean itinerary 5 adults in our party, 3 cabins (balcony) Cruise departure date: 12/10/2017 Please note that I am not normally a complainer. I am hoping that Carnival will read this review and improve their services. I have cruised with other cruise lines and had no cause to complain about the other cruises on those cruise ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

We chose this cruise because of the price and booked a suite. The cabin in and of itself was fine. Not impressed by the food or stateroom service. They only service the rooms once a day. (Royal does 2 times daily) and they only serviced it 3 out of 5 nights. The only good food was the Guy's burger place, but they closed at 6. Not many options after 6. Lido buffet did not appeal to me and the ...

Least favorite ship.

We chose this cruise because it left from Galveston (we are all in Texas) and went to the Bahamas (where we hadn't been yet). 26 Family members aboard. This is by far my least favorite ship (6th cruise to date) I have ever been on. The layout is so confusing that even by the 6th day I was often confused about how to get where I wanted to go. We also had many connecting balcony rooms, but the ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Freedom

After taking a similar cruise a couple of years ago, I wanted to see the NEW Panama Canal. And I did, at least 3 locks and the lake in the middle. Other than that, this was not a good cruise. Check-in has been streamlined at Galveston, but it is still somewhat confusing and some people who were scheduled to check in much later that we were actually got through faster than we did - although we ...

BORING

This is my 3 or 4th cruise with Carnival and I had enjoyed everyone except the Valor. The first day boarding party was a completely lousy. Yes it was the rainy season and yes it sprinkled what that means to me is the Cruise Director should have been more innovative to motivate the cruisers. The DJ packed up and left because of a few sprinkles. Obviously there was no contingency plan. The food ...

It has been approximately 15 years since we sailed with Carnival. I signed up for this cruise to scuba dive in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Cozumel was cancelled and replaced with a "Fun" day at sea. NOT ! We have been on 20+ cruises to date on Carnival, Princess, Celebrity, Oceania, Norwegian, Viking, and Holland America. The overall observation with this Carnival cruise is that ...

Primarily a party boat-good for families

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Restaurants seems like a cafeteria, no linen on table. Once you were served you entrée, it was difficult to get the attention of a server to bring additional bread, butter or any other item you might need. Servers danced on tables during dinner. This was part of the "entertainment". On the Lido deck in the buffet the glasses were small plastic ones like a toddler would use on the and no servers ...

I called Carnival today with numerous complaint. FTTF lost our luggage , two rooms , We paid 250.00 to go to steak house in stinky , sweaty clothes and was miserable the first night. The Luminous Ruins excursion should have been cancelled , endangered my family members lives due to heavy thunderstorms, they can't predict the weather but to make my daughter and grandson stand in pouring rain for 45 ...

Terrible cruise from a person that loves cruises

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

We were on the Valor 6/22/17 for a 4 night out of Galveston with my family of 5 plus my sons GF. It was ny middle sons 18th and graduation present. I found the ship to be dirty and the staff to be very rude. I found it was very boring with not many activities to do. The thing that really got me is that my daughter ship and sail card was charged 113.00 for some old lady perfume in the ship ...
