Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Wow - Food quality bad!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

Well Carnival has definitely been saving money on the food offerings on the Dream. The steak restaurant was so disappointing! We took the Panorama last December and our meal in their steakhouse was one of the best meals ever. I guess they're trying to recoup lost money from Covid. Also the main dining room food was just mediocre; you can get the same food in the buffet and not have ...

This review of our Carnival Christmas Cruise on the Breeze 12/24-29/2022. My wife and I booked our first Christmas Cruise. We have grown children with 4 grandchildren.  The Cruise was amazing and we had a fantastic time. I will include the great, the bad, and the ugly so you can decide how you would rate this cruise.   Houston Airport to the Port of Galveston: We booked a Lyft from the ...

FUNderwhelming Would you care for whine with your meal? I will apologize in advance to carnival and its gracious staff for the overall disappointed tone of this review. I can’t complain about the staff and their enthusiasm, generosity and respect for the clients. Let’s just say that upfront. But other elements left me FUNderwhelmed. Well, it was quiet when we first sat down. My first ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

It has been 12 years since I last boarded a Carnival ship and, to be honest, I didn't know what to expect on this one. The Vista reviews on here have been very mixed and, as a senior travelling alone, I had concerns about a wild "party ship" with drunken brawls, noisy corridors and screaming children. So, I am happy to report that I had a delightful cruise overall, finding lots of quiet spaces ...

We were looking for a semi economic Thanksgiving trip to warm weather. We are driving distance from Galveston and the cruise fair was not a lot more than 5 plane tickets so we ended up taking our first cruise as a family. Overall the trip was okay. The first half day and full day at sea was very rough but we managed okay. At times some of the kids felt slightly nauseas and felt fine when we ...

Thanksgiving cruise underwhelming

This was our 6th cruise and our least favorite experience. The ship had some design flaws, i.e. the Liquid Lounge has horrible seating the rows are not elevated enough to see over people, the aisles are to narrow to walk, the ground floor is just common dining chairs with NO elevation at all. Plus the actual entertainment was underwhelming. Most singers were so off-key it was painful to listen to. ...

Returned home 8 days ago and still waiting on credit for shore excursion cancelled due to the weather and booked through Carnival. Also still awaiting credit for overcharge when I booked and credit appeared on my statement. Cabin only made once each day, HA still offer twice. ALL room service charged for, HA still offers at NO charge. Booked a table for 2 months in advance for early dining, was ...

This cruise was to celebrate my 65th birthday. I traveled with my husband and best friend. We were in a suite (don't remember the level) and this is my story. An additional factoid is I am Platinum and my husband is just shy of Platinum on Carnival. Boarding was a "Breeze" We arrived at the terminal (Galveston) at about 10:30 and were on board by 11:00. We had the quick line because we ...

Family Time in the Family Harbor Suites

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

Port location, ease of embarkation and cost were the main reasons for choosing this ship. The itinerary was changed prior to embarkation - although disappointed, we proceeded with the cruise for the much needed family down time. Embarkation was smooth. No hiccups. Because we were in suites, we were able to drop off our carryon bags in the room and leave (please leave the area as soon as ...
