Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

My father in law was taking mother in law for her birthday and asked us to join them, he would pay. Overall, it was a fun cruise with a few issues. First, the cruise director TJ was wonderful( a perfect fit). Joey in entertainment did a great job as well. Anamaria in guest services was a huge savior to me. Now for the issues, the carnival hub app. I did the two things it said airplane mode and ...

FTTF did us no good, Buffet was cold, could not find pics

First of all the FTTF did us no good as far as all the waiting to board ship, debarking for excursions, etc. The food on the buffet line on Lido Deck was cold most of the time. We could not find ANY of our pictures, we found others that dined with us every night, but none of ours. This is the worst cruise I have had with Carnival, I've had far better on other Carnival Ships. The Show Time that the ...

group of 12 family members on this trip. embarkation was great and on board quickly. Ship itself was okay. not wowed by the closed in atrium or the public spaces were much smaller than other designs. Cabin was ok, but tub had mold all around the caulking. Room stewart Arie was good. Dining was a disaster, couldn't get a big table the first couple of nights and was split up. one table was ...

Love Carnival - Not Vista

Let me start this review by saying, we love Carnival. We always have a wonderful time with Carnival and will continue to sail with them. We just sailed out of Galveston on the Vista, 10/14. For the Vista being two years old, the ship was in rough condition. We had a spa balcony cabin, several things in the room were broken. My husband worked out and explained to me that several pieces of ...

Ship Was Good, But Carnival Still Has Problems

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

We had not cruised with Carnival since 2013, a cruise where we had a number of problems, including getting sick on board. This time, we both got upper respiratory infections. So, we are still concerned about the health conditions on the ships. There again were many of the Purell dispensers that did not work. And, the maintenance people were replacing air filters on our deck throughout the trip. ...

Fairly good trip, but many things need improvement

Overall our experience was a positive one. The ship shows signs of wear, but it was always clean and looked after thanks to the awesome staff. The food overall was poor, and was the biggest disappointment. Buffet on the Lido deck for all 3 meals was below average. Even dinner in the dining room was very poor. Extremely bland and just not great tasting. Our was, and other members of the waitstaff, ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

This 14 day cruise was our 30th overall and 19th with Carnival. I found for the most part a typical Carnival experience (good) The ship is kept spotless and the staff is the friendliest we have ever seen. Practically everyone greeted us with a smile and was very polite...The stage shows were IMO lacking. In 14 days we only had 3 musicals and one was terrible. (cowboy show) Other nights we were ...

Prefer Other Cruiselines to Carnival

We booked the Breeze out of Galveston after having lucked-into a fantastic deal on airfare and finding only two choices available for our dates; the other being RCCL's Liberty of the Seas, which we have sailed before as well as having sailed it's sister, the Freedom, recently. We thought to change it up a little and with 3 previous Carnival cruises under our belts, we felt like we knew what we ...

A little disappointing

This cruise was my least favorite that I have taken so far. I didn't read the August 2018 reviews prior to leaving, now that I have returned and read these reviews, I find it upsetting to see that the same problems that I experienced have been going on for awhile and Carnival has not done anything to fix this. Of course I understand that sometimes it is difficult to fix crew members' attitudes. I ...

An Average Cruise...Nothing Special!

This cruise was selected because it fit our schedule. There were repairs in progress during the cruise, such as painting the top walking track area which resulted in the area being closed the entire week. They worked on the pool at the front of the ship on the Lido deck which resulted in it being closed the first few days of the cruise. (I do not do the pool so It does not matter to me) They were ...
