Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

I chose Carnival Valor for the convenience of sailing out of Galveston, TX for an all girls' getaway. Embarkation went as smoothly as any cruise I have been on (I've been on several.) Once I figured out forward and aft and learned which decks didn't have access from one end to the other getting around was fairly easy. There seemed to always be long waits for the elevators. There were four of us ...

Having a Fabulous February in the Caribbean!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Freedom

It was a rainy start to February 10th when we headed to Galveston for a weeklong date with the Carnival Freedom and prayed as we drove through Houston and Galveston passing several accidents and water stranded motorists on I-45. When we got to the terminal we decided to forgo dropping off the luggage at the ship (which is the best way in most ports) and park first. The port transportation folks ...

We loved Malcolm, the cruise director. He was so much fun. We have been on other cruises and he, by far, has been the best cruise director. His enthusiasm is certainly contagious and so was his energy. As usual, the cruise staff is always gracious and such hard workers. We had a great family cruise (with 17 of us total). There were some unfortunate incidents (nothing caused by cruise ...

After hours and hours of research, reviews, and videos our cruise has come and gone; now its time for my take on this 5 day adventure. My wife and I have been on a NCL 7 day Caribbean cruise before but this was the first time we have taken our teenage boys. We live in Texas so a cruise liner that uses Galveston as a port was best for us, although it does leave you limited to either Carnival or ...

Wanting to see the Mayan Ruins and relax on the beach out of the cold in Missouri. The Carnival Valor is a great ship this is my second cruise on her. The cabins with balcony is very spacious and the decor is fun. Guy's Burger joint is a must stop the minute you're on ship. All of the crew are eager to help with a friendly hello and a smile. Faith in the salon made me very relaxed while ...

Things are changing with Carnival

We chose this cruise for the price and now I understand why it was very affordable. You get what you pay for. The balcony room was good, however, Carnival does not enforce the no smoking on balcony policy. We had smokers on both sides. The food was the worst food I have had on a cruise ship and the worst I have with Carnival. The only thing that was enjoyable wa the deli made to order sandwiches. ...

Family Trip with Something for Everyone

We chose this from an invite from another family member who cruised last year and convinced 7 others to join them on this cruise. There was always something to do on the ship while at sea. The ports of call were a great choice allowing something for everyone should they partake in an excursion or simply sit on the beach. The debark procedures were quick allowing the time on shore a pleasurable ...

Royal Caribbean Cruiser Trying Carnival

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

We just returned from a 7-day cruise on the Carnival Breeze out of Galveston. This was my first Carnival cruise, with all of my previous cruises being on Royal Caribbean. For comparison, the most recent Royal Caribbean ship we had cruised on was Liberty of the Seas, which still sails out of the port of Galveston and is the same price as the Breeze. I thought many may find it useful for me to ...
