Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Flights timing and price fit within our vacation parameters. Have never been to Houston/Galveston and was in the mood for an adventure with my youngest child who is about to turn 13. As with most vacations the people you spend time with make or break the experience. This trip had mostly Texans and they turned out to be very nice and friendly people to us New Jersey folks. The staff was ...

We arrived early to explore Galveston before boarding the Breeze. We went to Bubba Gumps for dinner. Both of our meals were terrible and took about 45 minutes to receive them. Embarkation went very smoothly and staff was very pleasant. Our cabin was a balcony 11247. Our room steward Yuri was fantastic. We tipped him throughout the cruise for his exception service. We had anytime dining ...

Good service, beautiful ship & subpar food / entertainment

The trip was designed near my birthday and our anniversary. A week to chill out and relax. I can honestly say we had a most relaxing vacation! The large Dine In Movie screen on Deck 10 has TOO many burned out pixels or lights. The screen often looks like a block wall due to the burn out lights. This is NO exaggeration. The food on Lido and in the Blush Restaurant were sub par. We ...

We were visiting our daughter in Houston and she told us about the cruises leaving from Galveston, which is only about an hour drive from her place in Houston. I wanted to let Carnival Cruise Line know about several of their wonderful employees who made our trip lovely. Our evening dining room Service Team were wonderful: Head waiter - Narang, Team waiter - Tino, and Asst. waiter - Naw. We had ...

We chose the Carnival Breeze because of the destination of this cruise and because the food and on board activities looked like a good fit for our family. The Breeze did not disappoint. There were roughly 4000 people on our boat and not once did it ever feel like that. The food was great! We used the room service continental breakfast almost every morning for coffee and you could get ...

Just Fun, but Nothing Fantastic

I chose this cruise because of the itinerary Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. Also because the port of departure was Galveston, TX. The cost was ok, but nothing wonderful. The embarkation / parking really sucked. We had to walk a mile it seemed like from shuttle drop off. was pretty chaotic. Got on the ship pretty quickly as we had Faster to the Fun and that helped bypass the credit ...

This was our 15th cruise, 5th on Carnival and have another booked on the Carnival Vista on Jan.13, 2019. We are a married couple in our 70's. We chose this cruise because of the 5 day venue and our close proximity to Galveston, about a 2 hour drive from S/W La. We normally take 7 day cruises but wanted to see how we liked the shorter 5 day cruise. The only difference was the number of port ...

I went to seethe Elvis show. I plan on going to it next year. The ship employees were among the best I have ever had the opportunity to cruise with. Being handicapped, they put me in a wheel chair and took me up the on ramp. And when time to disembark, they put me in a wheel chair, took me to get luggage, wheeled me through customs, then out to my shuttle bus. You can not ask for better than this. ...

My wife and i just returned from an 8 day, 7 night cruise aboard the carnival freedom out of galveston, texas. We traveled to ocho rios, jamaica; grand cayman and cozumel. We have been on several cruises, including alaska, and we must say that this cruise had more fun aboard than any cruise we have been on. Their cruise director, malcolm 'woo hoo' burn has more fun on his job than anyone we have ...

Loved the overall experience . Traveled with a teen, and was lots for her to do . Service was wonderful. The crew stayed busy all the time . Dining was great .(the melting chocolate cake is to die for ! ) PUTU attended to our cabin and was amazing. I traveled with a walker (healing a broken leg ) anyway.... when the luggage was being delivered or taken up at the port, the middle elevators ...
