Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Conquest

This was our 4th cruise (first on Carnival). We have previously sailed on Disney, Royal Caribbean and Princess. First off, we were hesitant to try Carnival as we have heard mixed reviews about it. But having recently moved to Texas, we couldn't pass up the opportunity since the port is only 1/2 hour away from us, and we received a Texas resident discount. For the most part, it seems like a lot of ...

A little background on our cruise history, this was my 21st cruise total, 19th with Carnival (Celebration - 2, Fantasy - 3, Ecstasy - 10, Elation - 2, Conquest - 1 and Triumph - 1) and 10th on the Ecstasy. I have 1 with Royal Caribbean and 1 with Princess as well. My Mother (my cruising partner in crime) and I love the Ecstasy, and are so sad to see her moved to another homeport, so this was to be ...

Important Note:I read A LOT of reviews on Cruise Critic about different ships, and I think a large part of the discrepancies that I see are due to a wide array of expectations, and ages of cruisers. So here is the background on our party and expectations. I'm 35, my DW is 30, and we traveled with 2 other couples roughly the same ages. We have a mixed set of interests but we love to be around ...

Previous cruises on Carnival Legend (2008) and Carnival Freedom (2010).• Travel to Port of Embarkation: We flew into Houston Intercontinental on Friday - the day before sail date - direct flight. Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Conquest

We took the April 27, 2011 cruise that left from Galveston, Tx. We went ahead & splurged on the Premium Vista (aft wrap around) balcony & I would do it over again in a heartbeat! We had room 8448 & everything was perfect. We did hear a few chairs being moved above us on the pool area but it wasn't bad & did not keep us from sleeping. We had the aft wrap around balcony & our friends that went with ...

Where to begin? I have never cruised in my life. I got to the terminal and almost turned around and went home but my family kept saying I was going to love it, so onward and upward I went. Let's just say upon entering the lobby of the Conquest I was blown away. The amount of room on the ship just from the view from the lobby was a relief. But enough of that let me give the lowdown of the ...

This review is for the Eastern Caribbean itinerary for April 24-May 1. We are fifty-something multi-line experienced cruisers who live within driving distance of the port. We had an Ocean Suite and also took our adult daughter and her partner in an inside. We were dropped at the port. Since we had an Ocean Suite and our daughter's cabin was using our same credit card account, we were all able to ...

I was very excited as I have wanted to cruise for some time now. Both our husbands are military and couldn't get the time off so off we went without them and our kids. I had the most fun I ever had on a vacation! The cruise well surpassed what everyone has told me about them on how great it was! The dinning was delicious! I had awesome table mates...that are now new friends. My best friend and ...

I booked two cabins on Conquest April 3, 2011 to celebrate with my daughter and two adult granddaughters who will be going to graduate school and moving. They had only cruised as children and I choose Carnival Conquest because I had sailed on this ship on 3 other occasions and had always found it to be a beautiful, luxurious ship. This cruise was somewhat disappointing due to passengers being ...
