Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Inaugural Magic Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Magic

The Magic's inaugural cruise started with much fanfare on Sunday as my family listened to Maroon Five from our window at the Harbor House in Galveston. The next day my 11-year-old Platinum Cruiser was the first Galveston passenger on board sometime after 11:00am. At this point, our vacation had begun. It took a couple of days to learn the ship but as each day passed, we could make our way with ...

First cruise!! Will NOT be our last!! This forum, the lists of things to bring, and reviews of excursions was SOOOOOOO helpful!! I'll start from the beginning. GALVESTON PORT: NO ONE had mentioned how to get into the parking lot at the pier, and the front gate had "no entry" on it. We incorrectly thought maybe it was closed on Sunday or something :/ So we went to our covered parking spot, and ...

I traveled with my sister and nephew for the first time. They have traveled numerous times on the Disney Lines, but we wanted to try the Carnival sailing out of Galveston for my first cruise. It was much more than I expected! We left on Sunday from Galveston. Had no problems boarding and finding our room. Room was clean, veranda was great. The first couple of days were rough due to rain and ...

Our first cruise- I am the nerd of our marriage so I had done tons of research, joined the chat rooms, and did a lot of trip advisor shopping. That being said we for a month and a half tried to decide what cruise line to go on, what port to go out of and duration. We chose Carnival, we wanted to go to Cozumel and were on a budget so the rest settled into place. We booked our cruise in January ...

We were not expecting much. We had a late, crowded embarkation (due to someone jumping overboard on the previous cruise...did they dislike it THAT MUCH ?) The inside room was nice.. and the cruise started to get good. Perhaps I will just list the good and the bad: Good: Service. We did Anytime Dining. Never waited longer than 2 minutes for seating. Service was MUCH FASTER than other cruise ...

The cruise wasvery nice. First time on Carnival in 7-8 years. We found out we were platinum guests having cruised over 10 times with Carn. Treated well from embarkment to bisembarkment. Great food., service and activities. The problem was the announcements, music, bands and games were so loud, they drove us off the deck. The Point Steakhouse was dynomite! Best service, steak, dessert and ...

Let me start by saying I am a seasoned cruiser. In fact I worked for 4 major cruise lines as a senior officer. One of the things that the other lines tend to do, especially with management level people is drill into your head that Carnival is nothing more than a low class 1 week drunk-fest. I have heard this my entire cruise career. Well, after my cruise on the Carnival Conquest 09/04, those ...

My bff and I just got back from our cruise! We had the most relaxing time! Food was outstanding, rooms clean and staff wonderful! First the food...24 hours a day there is always food. You can order as much as you want in dining room or can go to the grill for hamburgers and hot dogs. There is a Mongolian grill and rotisserie. Buffets, pizza and deli! I tried foods I would not have ordered in a ...

Traveling out of Galveston was smooth and uneventful. Our first two days at sea were wonderful. The casino is awesome but I do have problems with the Texas Hold Em computerized game. The playing is very inconsistent. Some terminals get the best deals while others get all the junk deals. What makes it worse, is it changes randomly. They need a dealer lead table. Get rid of the computer. Our ...

Review of the Conquest 7/10/2011-7/18/2011 Well, I have never written a review before so please be patient! We were a group of nine, 7 adults and two small children (ages 2 and 3). Our cabins included 7275 (a suite), 7281 (inside) and 8231 (inside). Due to the suite, we were VIP. Since we were all on the same credit card, we were all allowed to board thru the VIP area. We arrived at ...
