Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Memorial Week Breeze Cruise with Friends

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

We choose this cruise because of the holiday week and only having to take off 4 days for a 7 day cruise. It was pretty expensive cruise and my husband and I went with 3 other couples that are friends, we all live in the greater Houston area so easy to get to port etc. This was my husband’s 6 cruise and my 11th, we did FTTF as well. We really like the Breeze it has a great layout and muted ...

Overall, everyone had a good time.....except me, Mom. Keep in mind, I had an 18 YO, 17 YO and a 22 Month Old with me, oh and my husband. Carnival is really terrible at options for toddlers. They tout their Club Ocean, but it's not for Under 2. Now they do have a play room that is open when they are open, which was great every day to take our Daughter to and play with her, It's the ...

Kmart of Cruising

We all know Carnival is the Kmart of cruising, but they have hit new lows. They will now "blue light special" you over the loud speaker at anytime day or night. 10pm 4:52am. If they need you to do something or be somewhere or if they even suspect you may be asleep or spending downtime in your cabin they will be yelling over the loudspeaker for you to get out and keep spending money. The ship is ...

Carnival has gone completely down hill since our last cruise with them

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

I was so incredibly disappointed with this cruise. This was our 5th cruise overall and 2nd with Carnival. We enjoyed our previous cruise with Carnival, but this one was a let down in almost every way. I asked several of the passengers that were Gold members if it was just this ship, or if Carnival has gone downhill. They said it was a bit of both. My first tip would be to choose ANY other cruise. ...

We took a 4 day long weekend cruise The Valor has great decor. the staff was friendly, no complaints with cabin or any time dining. we were able to have the same wait staff , asked for her tables every night. Saw the Rock Show in theatre, watched movie under the stars and relaxed. They changed our port from Cozumel ( many were disappointed) but due to storm, safety first, we ...

We loved our time on the Breeze. I am writing this review as I really enjoyed reading the reviews prior to our cruise which was the week of 5/20 so hopefully this will help anyone with an upcoming trip on the Breeze. We departed out of Galveston with an itinerary going to Montego Bay, Grand Caymen and Cozumel. The ship was beautiful. Very well- appointed. Not as gaudy as others ships which was ...

Great Trip w/ Best Excursion Ever in Jamaica (you won't find it online)

First of all, I think it's important to mention that I wasn't very excited about our port day in Jamaica. However, we met a local taxi driver (Rae) who was beyond helpful and took us to a magical spot- Mayfield Falls! I honestly hesitate to blast it all over the internet, because what was so special, besides the beauty, is that we didn't see one other group while we were on our tour. We had the ...

First cruise a hit and a miss

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Our first cruise. The good, bad and ugly. First the good, this ship is clean clean clean. I wish I had better pics of the cabin, I did not think about it while we were on board. Our cabin was small but did not feel that way, there was plenty of room for the two of us and all my over-packing. The room staff went above and beyond and super fast. The ship was large and there were a lot of ...

Elevator, ice machine out of service

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

We went on a group cruise with friends. Our room was always clean and our cabin host was always helpful and friendly. The issues I had was that they boardered on harassment on the first day to push drinks on you. The closest ice machine was out of service the whole time. But what should have been unacceptable was the elevator that went to the 12th floor where the kids camp was located was out of ...

Very fun ship with a wide range of fellow travelers. We meant some very nice people from all over the country. The staff is amazing! Room Stewards, Dining Room ( Juan and company), bartenders (Erwin, Elwin and company). Clean ship. Everything is in great working order. Lots of activities for almost all ages but in my opinion, way too many Trivia games. It got a bit boring after the first couple of ...
