Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Exceptional staff and ship presentations

Highly recommended by friends. We were well taken care of by our state room caretaker, I. Made. He gave exceptional care to the needs of our suite and was very informative with information and directions. Claudia Chavarria, staff member on the Lido deck, was kind, informative and very alert to be as helpful as she could be in directing us to the different delicates that the ship has to offer. On ...

Fairly good trip, but many things need improvement

Overall our experience was a positive one. The ship shows signs of wear, but it was always clean and looked after thanks to the awesome staff. The food overall was poor, and was the biggest disappointment. Buffet on the Lido deck for all 3 meals was below average. Even dinner in the dining room was very poor. Extremely bland and just not great tasting. Our was, and other members of the waitstaff, ...

Repositioning Cruise from Galveston to Port Canaveral

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

I ultimately chose this cruise due to it’s importance to the Carnival Repositioning of their fleet. It was also a unique sailing and a Carnival Journey Cruise. It helped that I had previous Carnival Cruise Friends already booked. The only negative I can submit is the MDR Service. On this particular 9/16 sailing, the late seating was taking 2.5 hours from seating to leaving. Not sure why that ...

Great 14 Day Cruise!

We were a bit nervous about this cruise because we had never sailed Carnival before and had heard it was a "Party" ship. Our fears were for naught because Carnival is very much like all the other cruise lines with a mix of all different offerings and something for everyone. We had an excellent embarkation. Since we were in a suite we walked right on the ship and to our cabin. Unfortunately, our ...

Sunday, September 16 - embarkation smooth. Monday, September 17 - sea day Tuesday, September 18 - Sea day ate at steak house and had a professional private sitting with a photographer. They came out beautiful, and that is something I would never say, much less think of pictures of me. Wednesday, September 19 - Grand Cayman - Snuba diving Thursday, September 20 - sea day Friday, ...

This 14 day cruise was our 30th overall and 19th with Carnival. I found for the most part a typical Carnival experience (good) The ship is kept spotless and the staff is the friendliest we have ever seen. Practically everyone greeted us with a smile and was very polite...The stage shows were IMO lacking. In 14 days we only had 3 musicals and one was terrible. (cowboy show) Other nights we were ...

We have 12 cruises under our belt. Most of them have been with Carnival. This is the first out of Galveston as we like to try different ports. The ship is not as glamorous as the newer ones but it was in good repair and suited our needs. I actually prefer the smaller ones. If you are driving to Galveston the parking garage is literally right across the street from the terminal. I have to start out ...

We booked the Breeze out of Galveston after having lucked-into a fantastic deal on airfare and finding only two choices available for our dates; the other being RCCL's Liberty of the Seas, which we have sailed before as well as having sailed it's sister, the Freedom, recently. We thought to change it up a little and with 3 previous Carnival cruises under our belts, we felt like we knew what we ...

Took this cruise as a quick getaway after a long journey through my wife's cancer treatments. We are experienced cruisers.....over 25 and counting......but have never experienced a room with noise like this ! We were in room 6276 which happens to be right above the speakers in the Red Frog Pub. As you can guess.....LOUD.....THUMPING music?? until midnight....every night! Carnival should tell ...
