Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This was our first cruise and we absolutely loved every second of it! From the second we boarded, every staff member was welcoming and had excellent, courteous customer service !! Our housekeeping staff was wonderful! Each day we came back to our cabin, we were greeted by a cute towel animal creation by one of our deck’s housekeeping staff, Kumang. We were then spoiled for dinner by our awesome ...

We had an issue with the cleanliness of both rooms. The balcony had vomit from the previous guest. We had underwear from a previous guest left in the bathroom. My sister brought her own personal towels & hung them on the rack. Per their rules if they are left on the rack they won’t take them. Well they took her personal towels and the Manager did not mention replacing them. The Bartenders at the ...

Horrible ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

The ship is said to be the biggest in carnival fleet. And that’s true however they cramped the inside made room for more guest, and less crew! We could not get service on the lido deck at all ship was dirty and highly worn out for only being two years old. We have cruised with carnival only. That being said the cruise director was entertaining but did not interact with the guest except what he had ...

Grumpy Cruisers Should Stay Away from this FUN Ship

We have read on this forum long lines, crowded pools, impossible wait for skyride, bad food. We are here to say YOUR CRUISE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT! Experienced cruisers (and I consider that 4+) know how to navigate cruise downers. Here are some famous ones mentioned on the Vista critic pages: 1) to avoid running into a million and two kids, cruise late September/October. We saw only some kids, ...

We were scheduled to cruise with our grown children in December but had to change it. I then saw that the Vista was coming to Galveston and knew this was our chance. I snagged a Havana Cabana at the last minute. Loved the ship. It rained--A LOT!! I chose to cruise during hurricane season. Loved how we could take the "balcony" to the pool area and then come back the same way. My husband ...

We did a back to back cruise. Embarkation and debarcation was easy and fast. Staff was very helpful since I was in a boot due to a foot injury prior to the cruise. The ship is beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Endless activities for all ages. Water park, IMAX, Thrill Theatre, Rope Course, pools, hot tubs, Sky High Bike Ride, Casino, Seaside movie theatre, lots of bars, ...

Taking our son on his first cruise

We chose this cruise because of our sons birthday and this was our first cruise over 7 days. 6 Weeks prior to this our son broke his femur and therefore was not moving as well as normal. After returning we wish we would have postponed. He was unable to do the shore excursions we had pre-booked due to his mobility issues. The excursions desk staff were awesome in helping us find excursions ...

The cruise started off with everyone dealing with flooding in Galveston prior to boarding the ship. The initial plan was delayed departure at 7pm instead of 4 due to many guests being unable to get to terminal. We ended up not leaving until around 9:15 pm and no word was given as to why we were delayed longer. With all that said, our time for check in was 1130 and it went smoothly and we ...

My father in law paid for my husband and I to go on a cruise since we have not had a vacation in about 4 years, since our honeymoon. We left our 3 kids at home and we were ready to party and have a good time! We got on the ship early, as in the time it told us to board the ship since we had the faster to the fun card. When we were checking in they told us that our room would not be ready for about ...

Great "Reboot" to Texas! Flawless Galveston Inaugural Cruise

We are gold on Carnival and with that we can say that the Vista was a fantastic ship. We were in a suite 7370. Excellent access to all events. We are stair people, only because we don't want to make that extra 5 lbs average increase on a cruise get the better of us. So elevators issues were not a problem. We took them getting on and getting off only, since we had bags. They were as to be ...
