Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Tarnished Magic

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Magic

Cruising is our favorite way to vacation. We have had great experiences in the past, and this last trip was a bit disappointing. This was our second Carnival Cruise. The layout of the ship is weird. The dining room is on two levels and you have to go up one deck or down one deck to access from certain elevator locations. The food in the main dining room for the early seating was very ...

We never had a burning desire to book a cruise, we just didn't think it would be for us. Some family members were going and we decided we would tag along -- they had decided on the date, ship and itinerary. In the end they were not able to go, so we carried on without them, unsure about how we would enjoy the trip. We had a great time! We have a preschooler and cruising worked out to be perfect ...

We were on the 11/4/2012 sailing of Carnival Magic to Montego Bay / Georgetown / Cozumel. This was our 11th Carnival cruise (2nd time on Magic) and our 28th cruise overall. Embarkation - There as a "Biker Weekend" going on in town the day of embarkation, so earlier in the week we received an e-mail from Carnival to arrive early. When we arrived at 11:00 traffic was a non-issue (we stayed on ...

Please take into consideration that I am not a picky person and usually do not complain unless something is really a problem. This was a "girls" trip and we were determined to have fun and relax. It was the 1st trip I have taken for sometime that wasn't during summer, fall or winter break etc.. Not many kids on the ship. I was determined to meet someone who wasn't from Texas. Never happened, my ...

My husband and I live in Texas and we decided to sail on the Carnival Magic because it was a "new" ship, we liked the itinerary, and the convenience of driving to Galveston. Unfortunately, the itinerary did change due to tropical storm Sandy in the Caribbean. We last cruised twenty years ago on the Holland American Westerdam. After reading the many "pro and con" Magic reviews, we decided to go ...

This was our 2nd cruise with Carnival, and last time we were eager to get aboard but this time waited till late and liked late better. We had no problems with the lines thru security, yes, there was a wait but that was to be expected. We had booked an interior spa room and it was ready when we got there as opposed to having to drag all our carry on stuff all over the ship waiting for the room to ...

Cruising into 30 years of Magical Love

When deciding how to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary it was not very hard to agree on a romantic cruise aboard the Carnival Magic. Our seven day cruise took us into three of the most beautiful Caribbean port of calls, Isla of Roatan, Belize and Cozumel but it was the Carnival Magic that was the crown jewel on this romantic vacation. From the first step aboard this ship we felt the ...

I have very mixed feelings about this cruise. First, what upset me the most. The ship sailed at 4:00, and there was a mandatory safety briefing at 3:30. That briefing took place while the mid-ship elevators were, but for one, deactivated for luggage delivery. The briefing was conducted in both English and Spanish. So, after a five minute speech in English, it was repeated in Spanish forcing ...

This is rather long, but, hey, it's a long cruise. Please forgive any spelling or grammatical errors. Day 1 9-30-12 This is our 2nd cruise, going to Jamaica, the Cayman Islands and Cozumel. Our 1st was on the Triumph, to Progresso and Cozumel last year. We are not cruising veterans. We parked at Galveston Park & Sail. It is in a warehouse across the street from the terminal and very ...
