Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

FTTF did us no good, Buffet was cold, could not find pics

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

First of all the FTTF did us no good as far as all the waiting to board ship, debarking for excursions, etc. The food on the buffet line on Lido Deck was cold most of the time. We could not find ANY of our pictures, we found others that dined with us every night, but none of ours. This is the worst cruise I have had with Carnival, I've had far better on other Carnival Ships. The Show Time that the ...

The VISTA was a bad experience for all..embarkation was a night mare...having priority boarding means nothing..you are part of the heard of cattle....the wait for a wheelchair was an hour....with no bathrooms available....once on the ship it took forever to get an elevator....some only went to the lido deck ...some stopped on the way down on 3..had to change elevators to go to lower floors.... The ...

We had wanted to cruise Vista ever since it's christening. When the ship came to Galveston we made sure to get the Havana Cabana Suite. What makes the Havana Cabana Suite so awesome is the large bathroom. It had dual sinks and there was the handheld shower but also the Rain shower that made the day feel so much better. The Lanai was large but we rarely used it. The swing seat was comfortable ...

group of 12 family members on this trip. embarkation was great and on board quickly. Ship itself was okay. not wowed by the closed in atrium or the public spaces were much smaller than other designs. Cabin was ok, but tub had mold all around the caulking. Room stewart Arie was good. Dining was a disaster, couldn't get a big table the first couple of nights and was split up. one table was ...

Love Carnival - Not Vista

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

Let me start this review by saying, we love Carnival. We always have a wonderful time with Carnival and will continue to sail with them. We just sailed out of Galveston on the Vista, 10/14. For the Vista being two years old, the ship was in rough condition. We had a spa balcony cabin, several things in the room were broken. My husband worked out and explained to me that several pieces of ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

This was our 6th cruise on Carnival and our 5th ship. We are from Arizona and we love cruising. Closest ports to us are California and Galveston. We enjoy sailing out of Galveston because of the ships and the various port choices. California is more limited in both areas. I ready many negative reviews about the Vista so was a little nervous but the bottom line for us, we love to cruise, ...

We went on this cruise because we had an October school break for our 2 kids age 9 and 11, Galveston is just a 4 hour drive, never been to Jamaica and last because The Vista was Carnivals largest and newest ship...the skyride was a plus too we were looking forward to. About 4 years prior, we went on a much smaller Carnival ship out of Tampa - I did not like that cruise-so little to do and the ...

TJ the cruise director was so friggin awesome, loved his personality, his energy and his humor. Stephanie from the fun squad was so cool, sad she is leaving the Valor. she will be hard to replace. This past week was the worst vacation I have ever had. I would have rather been working. I have been on previous carnival cruises however I will no longer be using them. Our 7 day trip to the Caribbean changed into a nightmare where I was counting down the days until I could go home. 1.) The Cruise Director Emma- she was extremely rude to the guests and knew her remarks sounded bad and blamed it ...

Our sixth Carnival Cruise, eighth overall

If little things bug you, there isn't a cruise out there for you. Otherwise, this one is an excellent choice! I hear people refer to the Valor as an old ship. While it isn't new, it isn't old. It doesn't have as much as the newer ships, but it still has the 2.0 items. I also hear people say it is a small ship. Again, not true. While it isn't the biggest, it's not the smallest either. For a couple ...
