Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Magic really does happen!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Magic

We're super impressed! I know you've read the negative reviews- bad food, bad ports, bad service, bad shipmates. I'm here to tell you 99 percent of that is simply not true! We've been serious cruisers for 2 years (2 or more cruise per year.) We'd heard all the rumors. And it was with major reservations that we booked the 7 day "exotic" Western Caribbean sailing with Carnival. The price was ...

I had only been waiting 11 months, 8 days, 32 minutes, and 16 seconds for this day to arrive. Finally, the time for my husband and I to embark on our two-year anniversary cruise with Carnival. This was our third cruise, but we were still as excited as our first. I had just clocked out of work at 7:30 am and was ready to head out to Galveston. As my husband began to load the luggage I sat at the ...

Carnival Magic 1/5/2014 - 2nd Trip!

This was our 2nd-ever cruise, and we chose the same ship and itinerary as our first one! FASTER TO THE FUN: This time, Faster to the Fun was available, so we bought it. It wasn't particularly helpful at the cruise terminal, but it was well worth every penny of the $50 per cabin... The best part was the VIP line at Guest Services! Wow, that was great... We'll buy FTTF again in a heartbeat! Oh, ...

Chilly January - But Magic Provides Fun

Reading the ship reviews is one of my favorite things to do on this board, so I was eager to let you know about our experience. We just got off the Carnival Magic which went to Roatan, Belize & Cozumel. This was our first cruise in the month of January. While we LOVED the prices, we didn’t particularly like the “iffy” weather in January, which was at times chilly, overcast or drizzly. We only had ...

We spent the week of Dec 29, 2013-Jan 5, 2014 on “the beautiful Carnival Magic.” My mom treated my family of five as our Christmas present (Thanks, Mom!). There were seven of us on this trip: my mom, stepdad, myself, my husband and our three boys, ages 9, 6 and 3. It was a fantastic week overall, and a very fun way to ring in 2014! First, I have to say, we all loved the Magic! The ship itself is ...

Just returned from a 7 day cruise on the Carnival Magic. We purchased the F2TF pass and enjoyed it. Our embarkation took literally 15 minutes from entering the building to entering the Promenade Deck. All went smoothly. We got to the port, dropped of our luggage and parked at the cruise port parking. Quick shuttle and drop off right at the door about 12:30. After getting on board our cabin was ...

Drove to Galveston Sunday morning, ate lunch at Gaidos, don't miss the seafood here, this place has been open for over 100 years. This is our 6th cruise, but first on Magic. We dropped luggage off at cruise port than drove to Parking Lot B, $70.00. Then took shuttle back with carry-on items. It was about 2:30, so we were at end of line, which we prefer. We had a pack of 24 water bottles and 2 ...

Sailed out of Galveston used EZ parking got a discount on-line for parking, couldn't have been easier. Would recommend them to anyone going out of Galveston. Had all the paperwork done ahead of time got to the terminal at 11:15 and was on the ship by 12:30. We didn't have the fast pass that you can buy from Carnival for $50 per cabin (it was sold out) but didn't see much of a advance maybe if you ...

This was a Mother/Daughters cruise. Mom, Sis and I shared a cove balcony cabin. This was the first time we had a cove balcony cabin, and honestly I prayed it was as great as a balcony cabin - it was! (Maybe even better!!) Carnival employees were fantastic. We arrived at the ship, went through the security and check in quickly and efficiently. Knowing that we were getting on our cruise ship, ready ...

Excellent Ship!

Let me start by saying that taking a Carnival Cruise is the last thing I ever imagined myself doing, much less taking my family on one? The reason for this, is that Carnival did not have a good reputation sailing out of galveston. This cruise line had a history of dirty ships and unfriendly staff. Well, my family wanted a vaction instead of the usual family get together for Thanksgiving. Since we ...
