We chose this cruise because it was going out of Galveston. We would not have picked this itinerary but it was what was available for Thanksgiving week. This cruise was for celebration of my DH birthday and Thanksgiving. This was our 21st cruise with Carnival and twice on the Freedom. We felt the pairing was just off and we can’t pinpoint exactly how or why.

Carnival is still our cruise lines of choice after experiencing five cruises, three of which have been with Carnival. The ship, Breeze, has beautiful décor throughout, its staff provide superior service and are very attentive and friendly. Well, we just got back from our 5 day cruise on the Carnival Valor. A nice ship, and the exact same layout as the Conquest, with one exception.....a very odd decor.

The price was in our budget. I wanted a birthday cruise but the following week was so much more expensive. I didn't know it was a two week cruise or I might have booked it.
