Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Some great points, some not-so-great points. Nice ship overall.

We chose this cruise because it was going out of Galveston. We would not have picked this itinerary but it was what was available for Thanksgiving week. I have been to Jamaica on a couple of land trips and a couple of cruises, so there was nothing I really wanted to do, so we just did the Hop-on Hop-off bus. We had a very safe driver on the outbound trip, but they take you to the farthest ...

Carnival Freedom 11-18-2017 7-Day Bahamas Room 7370 Overall Rating of The Cruise 3.5 out of 5 “It is firm belief that wine is enhanced by experience. You may have a bottle that is rated poorly, but pair it with the right food, company, and atmosphere, it may be one of the most memorable bottles ever” Quote Laura Mohseni. This is the same line of thought that came to mind when ...

This cruise was for celebration of my DH birthday and Thanksgiving. This was our 21st cruise with Carnival and twice on the Freedom. We felt the pairing was just off and we can’t pinpoint exactly how or why. Boarding was very quick and easy in Galveston. Our room was clean and ready when we arrived around 11:15am, priority boarding. We went to Steakhouse this first night and enjoyed our ...

Carnival is still our cruise lines of choice after experiencing five cruises, three of which have been with Carnival. The ship, Breeze, has beautiful décor throughout, its staff provide superior service and are very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent in the dining rooms, buffets, specialty restaurants and cafes. The overall price was competitive with others in the cruise industry. Our ...

Well, we just got back from our 5 day cruise on the Carnival Valor. A nice ship, and the exact same layout as the Conquest, with one exception.....a very odd decor. On the subject of Carnival drink packages, one thing they do not tell you is that the package **doesn't start until day 2**. So your pina coladas will cost you on day 1. The drink package limits you to 15 drinks a day. For ...

My husband and I were on the Breeze over Halloween. We were on the Breeze last year, as well, for Halloween. So, we knew what to expect. Pros: Overall, we had a good time. We really enjoyed Mike, the Cruise Director (or whatever they're called these days). We had excellent service in the dining room. Adi and his team were the best! And, we enjoyed the comedians, the production show Flick, and ...

I took this cruise do to it being 2 months before Christmas...I thought that it would be a great time to shop in Jamaica, Caymans and Cozumel .Well we made it to the first stop but the Capitan announced that we wouldn't be going to the Cayman Islands due to the weather being a factor....needless to say I was very disappointed since that was the main Port I wanted to visit. As we went thru customs ...

We chose this cruise for the ports of Honduras and Belize. We arrived into Houston a couple of days before the cruise to get some shopping in. We had a meal in a Texas Roadhouse in Houston. A great stake meal for two for $74 including tip. We booked the transfer to Galveston with Galveston Express. On time and reliable. Embarkation was fairly straightforward and we were on board by 12.30 and in ...

The price was in our budget. I wanted a birthday cruise but the following week was so much more expensive. I didn't know it was a two week cruise or I might have booked it. I have never been on a birthday cruise which I wanted to do. Oh well I never had anything ever special on my birthday so it is okay. No parties, no friends, or trips. Honduras was great even though it rained. We had ...

This was our very first cruise, so our nerves were high with excitement. The boarding process was relativity easy. We decided to get the indoor parking which shuttled us to the dock. The shuttle drivers and porters were very courteous and helpful. Upon boarding the ship everything was clean and lively. Waiting on an elevator was a pain, but to be expected on the first day. We booked an ...
