Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

A Breezy Easter

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

This is our third time on the Breeze. Normally, I enjoy her. Good ship with great staff. The people on friendly. I still had a good time, but this was my least favorite Breeze cruise. First, I got sick with a stomach bug or food poisoning the first sea day. Then the ship was as full as I have ever seen a ship. Too full. It was on the Easter weekend and was PACKED. PACKED. I went on the ...

Great Weather and Cruise - WiFi Terrible!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Dream

We chose this cruise out of Galveston, within a reasonable drive from Austin. Also, the itinerary to Key West and Bahamas was enticing as we'd never been to those ports. Was a very easy boarding process and we had a great balcony cabin mid ship. Overall the trip was great with wonderful service and the food never disappoints on Carnival. I was concerned with the ship's age, however it was well ...

Wonderful for a large family group

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

We were a group of 19 grandparents, parents and grandchildren taking our first cruise together. We chose Carnival for their family friendly reputation. We chose the eastern Carribean cruise but Carnival had to cancel it and substitute a western Caribbean cruise on our chosen date which we couldn't alter. They offered a $100 per cabin on board credit which we were allowed to convert to actual ...

Sailed on the Carnival Breeze January 16-21 We chose this cruise kind of last minute since our cruise was cancelled at the beginning of the pandemic. My wife and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary so we took this opportunity to sail without our kids. We let the cruise line pick out room. We were assigned 7237, which is in the front of the ship but unfortunately right above the theater so ...

Amazing staff and a relaxing trip

This is my 6th cruise. I have previously cruised disney, RCL, and carnival. This is my honest opinion and I added in my personal helpful hints. :) This is my 2nd time on the Dream. It is beautiful ship and so easy to navigate. It was my daughter and I, 18 years old on this Thanksgiving cruise. 8 days with stops in Key West, Freeport, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau. Service: ***** AMAZING, ...

I have been cruising for 22 years and have 10 Carnival Cruises under my belt. This was a great cruise, but there were definitely some notable changes since my last sailing. I will break it down- The Good- Staff-the hardest working and friendly people anywhere! Smiling, helpful, friendly, pleasant no matter their job. Shout out to Christian our room steward. He was amazing! The ...

Good cruise/great weather

Overall it was a good cruise. It's been awhile since I have cruised with Carnival and note that there have been some changes primarily with the overall food quality has dropped some, but still some good things available. Guys burgers are not the same as I remembered. The wait staff in dining was doing their best, but really had too many tables to serve. Sea day brunch was slow. I didn't ...

Just got off the Carnival Vista, 7-day cruise from Galveston to Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. We had a good time, as always, but there were a few things that bugged/perplexed me. First, the good stuff: We didn’t have to wear a mask anywhere during the entire 7 days! Hallelujah! Kendall Fyre is a super Cruise Director. She has the energy of 10 people. There are plenty of things to ...

Fun Cruise

Ship condition: We believe it was in great shape overall. We did notice in a couple of places the floors were soft, mostly on the lower floors. The guest services desk was always crazy long line and slow. They were nice and made us happy for the one issue we went there for. I think part of the problem is their location. It is so loud. Food: Buffet - Good variety. Not enough vegetable ...

Great cruise but disembarkation a little rough

We took this cruise after 2 long years of waiting due to covid. It was obvious the staff was a little short handed probably still due to covid related issues but they still did an amazing job! They work really hard to ensure you have a great cruise and always greet you with a warm welcome! We loved the dining room as always! Guys burgers, blue iguana, deli and sushi were also delish!!! Embarkation ...
