Never cruised on Carnival. Thought I would try it. Went to Cozumel and Progresso. The food was ok . First, my primary experiences are on the Dream class ships (Breeze and Dream) so my experience on the Vista left so much to be desired. The beds were spring mattresses and horrifically uncomfortable. We booked a Havana cabana cabin which is supposed to be an exclusive area on the ship where no children under 12 are allowed, yet the first morning I'm awoken by a child screaming her lungs out in the middle of the hallway for her little brother to get out of her room. A friend selected this as our yearly girl's trip. First, we weren't aware that Cheers package did not include drinks on day one and ended up paying for drinks on first day. So first off I choose this ship for the activities listed since this would be the first cruise for my grandkids but not for me and my husband.
