Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

Before I get too far, I want to say that we loved the Carnival Vista. Me and my husband decided to have our wedding on the Vista in Galveston and then take a 7 day cruise to Montego Bay, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel. Our wedding day didn’t turn out as expected due to a medical emergency on the cruise prior to us, so our wedding got pushed back from 12:15 to 3:30 P.M. We had gotten the call the day ...

My 3rd time on this cruise. This cruise did not impress me at all! The director was not the best and the staff wasn't as helpful as they've been in the past. Food was not all that either. I was expecting a whole lot of a better experience and not just that but everything was very unorganized. The only positive comment I can say was our stateroom attendant Nyoman, he was sooo cheerfull, happy ...

Everyone was so friendly. Rosanna was our cabin lady. Always happy and smiley. Our room was so clean. The sheets are perfectly clean and white. I was actually asking, how on the world they keep it so white. I don’t know when they take any rest. I would wake up before seven and I see her cleaning I would go sleep around nine and see her cleaning too. Those people are working so hard to make our ...

We did a family vacation of 13 this year! The Vista is a beautiful ship. The staff was amazing!! Thoby was our stewardess on deck 2. He was absolutely amazing! The fun squad and TJ were a blast and really got the crowd involved! Thank you all for an amazing time. The ship was clean and food was delicious! Lots of great excursions on this cruise as well (Western Caribbean.) It was a great vacation ...

My Favorite Ship Yet!

Galveston is my preferred port to sail from. The Vista was newer and bigger than any ship I had been on before. I definitely got my steps in but I absolutely adored the Vista. I am sad that she is leaving Galveston but I have booked the Jubilee so I'm sure I will manage. :) The passenger capacity was listed as 3,954, we had 4,200. The layout seemed to work very well as I never felt ...

Overall a wonderful experience for a first time cruiser. Check in process is very good with facial recognition. Open theater with the pool was a nice experience. Third floor guest services were very friendly and photo representatives are present throughout the ship available if u r interested. Daily dine in dinner experience was one of the best. They are very friendly and polite. Anytime we need ...

This is my second Carnival cruise on the same ship and the Vista never fails to disappoint! The staff was kind and helpful, especially with our party of 7. We tried all the specialty dining restaurants and the main dining hall and the service was exceptional, especially with dietary restrictions and making sure our food was to our liking. Special shout out to Jocelyn, our Mayan Cuisine ...

Relatively new to cruising, having only cruised to Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico, in the past. My wife told me that this 8-day cruise was the best vacation we have ever had. Why? We chose to make this Carnival cruise a means to find enjoyment in being together, taking advantage of the ports and what the ship offered. Choosing to go the value way, allowing for more cruises, we opted for an inside ...

I have disabilities that made me think I could not cruise. Carnival proved me wrong. My ADA approved cabin was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the closet space was accessable. the bathroom was large enough for my power chair to turn around in. The crew was helpful with every aspect of my needs. Every crew member assisted me with anything I needed and always had a smile and a friendly ...
