Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Background: This is the second cruise on Carnival for both my wife and I. I am 29 and my wife is 28. We were celebrating our 4th anniversary. We traveled with two other couples. One was on their honeymoon and the other was celebrating their anniversary as well. We have two children and we left them at home with grandma!! Embarkation: Nightmare. It was a combination of problems that were out of ...

Background: 5th Cruise for both wife and I, we are 31 and 33 respectively. We have 2 boys, and left them home. We have cruised Renaissance in Tahiti, Norwegian in Caribbean and Hawaii, and Princess in Alaska. Overall, we both rated this cruise as our 2nd best (behind the Tahiti cruise). Overall Great value. Thanks for all the reviews on cruise critic, as always, they helped very much. This cruise ...

Background Information: This was a first cruise for my husband and I, and it was for our 25th anniversary (a gift from our daughter). We had never even seen the ocean, much less go on a cruise before. So this was going to be a real treat! Travel To Port of Embarkation: We left early Sunday Morning, 4/15, and drove from Denton, TX to Galveston. It took about 5 1/2 hours to drive, and that's with ...

Background: This was our first cruise. It was a late celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. It is a memory we will always cherish, and one of the best vacations we have ever had! Hotel: The day before our cruise, we drove to Galveston and stayed at the Hotel Galvez. It is a beautiful, old hotel. We were able to leave our car there while we were on our cruise for $12 for the entire week. ...

Neat ship. Great cruise. This was our 4th cruise, second with Carnival and Ecstasy far exceeded our expectations. Arrival was a breeze and we do like the VIP check in for suite holders. We rented a car and drove to Galveston, left the car at the hotel and used a hotel shuttle to the port. Within 30 minutes we were on board and on the Lido enjoying the buffet and the sunshine. Our cabin was ready ...

Wow what a cruise, my DW and DS and I all went on this wonderful 7 day cruise. Leaving, well I set a land speed record driving from Colo Spngs to Denver, and ran to the gate just making the plane, so needless to say I was stressssssss out......... After arriving in Houston, I had a limo pick my family up and transported us to the port. The driver took a different route and we missed all of the ...

My wife and I took this same cruise last year at the same time for our 25th wedding anniversary and enjoyed it so much we took our now 25 year old daughter along for the trip. Our experience last year with Jamaica and the feeling of being mugged by solicitors in the downtown area convinced us that this year we would be spending our time at Sunset Beach. It is all inclusive and I had heard from ...

We sailed on the Carnival Conquest The same week in 2006 (spring break). The Ship hasn't changed much at all. Embarkation was smooth. Of course, theres always long lines. The check-in went well and we were treated great through the entire thing. Day one at sea: The ship was rocking quite a bit with the rough seas. The deck space is still limited like last year. If your wanting to lay out on ...

This was our seventh cruise and only my second Carnival cruise ( my first was in 1982) I did not expect much from Carnival because I always have been told that the food isn't as good as the other lines and there are too many kids and its the "party boat". But our friends live near Galveston and it was a chance to visit them and to catch a cruise as well. Well, surprise of surprises; the food was ...
