Carnival Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

My wife and I just returned from an 8 day cruise on Carnival's Conquest - a 3,000 passenger ship built in 2002. That was our sixth cruise in 13 years - two other on Carnival (in the 2000's) and three on Norwegian Lines ("NCL") the past three years. We always get a balcony cabin. Here are my comparisons: 1. Cabin - Big edge to NCL Carnival has better storage but NCL cabin is larger and ...

I felt that the carnival conquest wasn't very good. I didn't feel that my experience sailing on the carnival conquest was very fun and it didn't meet my expectations of what I would be looking for while on a cruise. I felt that there wasn't a lot of entertainment on the ledo deck w/ fun activities and fun things to do during the day and @ night or in the evening there wasn't very many shows or ...

We stayed in 1115 - balcony in the front of the ship. WE arrived two days prior to embarkation and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66. It was wonderful and highly recommend. Will definitely return there. We choose this cruise for the itinerary. Grand Turk and Caracao were two islands my wife had not visited previously. Overall we were very happy with the cruise. We had not sailed on Carnival ...

Lots of fun aboard!

Curacao and Aruba were the selling points of choosing this cruise. 3 adult couples embarked effortlessly. We only had to wait about an hour and a half arriving way before boarding began due to flight schedule. Crew was friendly and cabin was ready within a few hours of boarding. Luggage arrived before dinner even! Our cabin was located mid ship on deck 6. Many nights you could hear the noise ...

Enjoyable Cruise

We choose the Conquest because of the 8-day itinerary, which took us to Grand Turk, La Romana, Curacao, and Aruba. After driving to Fort Lauderdale, we parked the car in the Park n Go, on Eller Drive, just off the interstate (best place to park - well organized, reasonably priced, immediate shuttle to and from the port), Embarkation is always a horror, even with the supposed staggered times. ...

I wanted to go to the Dominican Republic, Curacao and Turks & Caicos since I have never been to those islands. I now want to move to Curacao, I totally fell in love with it. I would go back to these islands again and just do the beach next time to soak up some sun. We did Island tours which were very informative especially the Curacao Island tour, we even got a sample of the blue Curacao rum that ...

All in all we had a great time and none of the issues ruined our vacation. Lets start with the issues so we can end on a good note. I had requested and had been confirmed for anytime dining. Imagine my surprise when I got there and was assigned a table for late dining. As soon as I got on board I was instructed to go to the main dining room to see if it could be changed. I was told ...

The Good and Not So Good

Almost a year ago my agent found this cruise for us. Good price with OBC and you could choose your room.A first for us. Usually we do a guarntee and find out our room at final payment. We wanted to see Key West again. And finally see Harry Truman`s White House and the Hemmingway house and the 6 toed cats. We flew from Kansas City to Ft. Lauderdale the day before the cruise. Staying at the ...

It was 6 days at a good price. Although I have been to these ports, I like the cruising. People were great, the food was good, and the crew were very helpful & friendly. My only issue was the A/C Maintenance staff, one or two from Customer Service. The A/C either worked full force,...( I was trying to get away from the cold) or nothing, no circulation at all. It seems the they did not know how ...

Great Time on the Conquest

We had a great time on the Conquest. The embarkation and debarkation were both a breeze, we are platinum on Carnival so we were able to skip the general lines. We both felt the entertainment was above par, thoroughly enjoyed the shows and the music outside the main show room. Service was also top notch, from cabin steward to dinner staff, everyone was on their game. Dinner food was very good, we ...
