1-10 of 62 Carnival Freedom Suite Cabin Cruise Reviews
My husband and I booked last minute for this cruise. We literally had the last outside Jr.Suite. The room was clean and too comfortable:) We were greeted at IAH by the Carnival transfer represented (very pleasant) and organized. Comfortable one hour bus ride(took a nap). Arrived where our luggage was taken promptly to the ship. The smoothest check in no hassles. We were greeted with champagne as ...
We were already scheduled on the Freedom for 22 December with family, but found a suite on the 15 December cruise and decided to make it a back-to-back. Luckily it was a fantastic choice. We've sailed Carnival before and had some good and some not so good experiences, but dang. Things have changed. I'll say up front that I don't know if the great changes are company-wide or if it's just on the ...
We choose this cruise to go with another couple that this was their first cruise. The ship was looking good inside and out after the dry dock. We had an ocean suite on the 7th floor. Room was nice, lots of room and storage. We were a bit surprised that the suite did not have a bathtub as the suites do on the bigger ships. Still had a nice big shower, but the wife really like a tub to soak in. ...
This was our 24th cruise on Carnival and would rate this one of the best!!! We like the size of the freedom. The crew was top notch, always happy and speaking to us in a happy manor. We found the food in main dinning room to be very good, and the service to be outstanding.
We have cruised on the Carnival Vista 4 times this year as well, the Freedom we find is a much better ship, there are ...
My hubs and I typically cruise with RCI but, because we have exhausted all of the Royal Caribbean itineraries out of Galveston, we chose this cruise to the Bahamas on Carnival. We had only cruised with Carnival once before on a quick 4-night trip so we did not know exactly what to expect.
We had heard that the Freedom was scheduled for dry dock shortly after our return so we expected a ship ...

If you are accustomed to a nicer cruising experience like Holland America and Celebrity you really should avoid Carnival. Service was subpar. Ship was not as well maintained as some of the nicer cruises. And the fellow passengers are not at all what we are used to. We treated ourselves to a suite and even though the room was spacious it was not well maintained, was not clean, and was unusually ...
Embarkation - Went very smooth. We parked at Lighthouse parking and took the shuttle to the terminal. Easy access (we had Faster To The Fun), so we walked in and went right on the ship. Less than 15 minutes from drop off to ship.
Ship - it is your standard Carnival ship. Too gaudy for us, but we don't go for decorations. Since it was our kids first cruise (five kids from 10-18), we had to ...
Overall, everyone had a good time.....except me, Mom. Keep in mind, I had an 18 YO, 17 YO and a 22 Month Old with me, oh and my husband. Carnival is really terrible at options for toddlers. They tout their Club Ocean, but it's not for Under 2. Now they do have a play room that is open when they are open, which was great every day to take our Daughter to and play with her, It's the ...
Wanted to do this itinerary again with our grandkids and had a great time years ago on the Freedom. Was a little leery trying Galveston port and want very impressed by it but embarkation was easy and staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was ready when we arrived and our steward,Ivan, greeted us. We needed the beds set up differently and by the time we returned from touring the ship and ...
