Cabin was clean and mostly satisfactory. Room steward did a fantastic job during the cruise. Only negatives were the fridge wasn't cold at all and was worthless. Brown water came out of the sink and shower faucets one day and didn't clear up until later that evening. Toilet would over fill every once in awhile and exit the emergency drain. Would have to flush it a few times to get it to stop running water. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was tight with two adults and two kids ages 9 & 11. There was a lot of movement in this room! We could feel the ship moving and at times felt as though it was tilting far to one side. It was nice being able to look out of our own balcony and watch the scenery. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was nice. It was a spa level balcony which is the same room but the door is sliding glass door and the window is floor to ceiling so the view is great. I spend more time in my cabin then most people on a cruise so the room matters to me. The steward was good but we didn't get ice delivered and no more chocolates on the bed at night. It seems we are paying the same price and getting less for our money. The only problem with the cabin is its right under Camp Ocean. Never really had a problem at night but during the day you could hear the running at times but not all that common. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was very well appointed with a good amount of hanging space, fridge, hair-dryer, and a very good bathroom and shower. The only issue that we had was with the plug stuck in the sink which 'K' fixed for us. Superb service all round from the steward and his team. Some fellow passengers had their own hair-dryer / straighteners / kettles taken away as they are considered potential heat-sources, and some had alcohol removed to be returned at the end of the voyage(there is a real drive to make sure you buy on-board drinks). All I would say is that if it is on display....As a very forward cabin the balcony did tend to catch and retain a lot of water on the deck of the balcony around your feet, and it would have been quite uncomfortable had we been allowed to sit and smoke (which we could not, but we did not know that when we booked and had considered that to be ideal!).On our trip we never used the balcony due to the water sloshing around and on some occasions the spray. But we would not consider an inside cabin under any circumstances.Debarkation at the end of the voyage goes by deck number, 11 being among the last to depart. If you can, or if you are in a hurry, take the Self Debarkation; if not you will be hanging around until the very last of the rest of the ship has debarked and your cases become available from Assisted Debark. Great location, some noise due to proximity of access door,to the front deck which slams in the wind. Great for gym and spa access, serenity area. Besides the door thing, very quiet Read entire member review >>
This was our first balcony cabin and we absolutely loved it! There was ample storage for the 2 of us. Bed was a little firm for my taste, but I slept great every night. We loved the linens and comforter. We have no complaints whatsoever about our cabin. Read entire member review >>
SPA CABIN....nice but needed updating. Drawer kept falling forward, drapes were frayed from stepping on them at the doorway. Balcony was crowded and uncovered, allowing people above to look down on us. The DECK CHAIR MOVERS were very active at 6:45 AM, which was very disturbing. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 1009 cannot use the balcony light as supposedly it interferes with the navigation of the ship. I think this is one very important detail that needs to be disclosed very prominently. Read entire member review >>
7221: Fore starboard. Great cabin, just under and behind the bridge. The balcony was big enough, the cabin was quiet and the view out to the front was great. Only negative is that it was a long walk to the aft (357 paces to be exact) Read entire member review >>
Cabin 1067, deck 10; was adjacent to one of the air conditioning rooms, so it was very noisy on the balcony, and you could hear the noise in the cabin. Do not choose this cabin if you want quiet. It was close to the elevators, but you never heard noise from the elevators. Bathroom was small, but we are normal weight. If you are way overweight, like a lot of passengers were, then you would find the shower too small. Cabin is about the same size as the Westerdam(HAL), but the bathroom was smaller; we had a regular size bathtub/shower on the Westerdam for the same priced cabin. Read entire member review >>
