Carnival First-Time Cruisers Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

We chose this cruise as it's only a 50 minute flight to Long Beach. The ship was very clean and I'm not sure how Carnival does it, but their staff is amazing. We took our 7 year old grandson and had a deluxe ocean view with to bathrooms. There was enty of room for the 3 of us. It was 2 hort flights to the Vista dining room. We always take my time dining as we enjoy the flexibility. The Food ...

Surprisingly Good Cruise

We're frequent cruisers, who mainly sailed on Carnival years ago for the shorter, party itineraries. We have been mainly sailing on Celebrity since then but wanted to go on this specific itinerary and thought Carnival might be fun for our son. We didn't know what to expect and to my surprise, they nailed it, it was a surprisingly good cruise. The ship itself was beautiful, clean, and the staff was ...

Hello! We are in our 40s with a tween. We have cruised several times- 3 with Carnival, Royal, and Norweigan. Pros: The ship is beautiful! She is well maintained. Staff was fantastic. Room steward did an excellent job. She was always cheerful. Our waiter was fantastic. He was attentive. I loved the Italian restaurant and the pizza. All of the onboard activities was great. Slides, sky rider, and ...

An Excellent First Carnival Cruise

First, I apologize for this novel but I do like to provide thorough information for others to reference! I have sailed twice on Disney Cruise Line (2018-2019) and five times on Royal Caribbean (2022-2023). I’m a travel agent and looking to expand my offerings and the best way to do that is to keep sailing! I live on the west coast and Carnival has a noticeable presence here year round, so I found ...

This was our 12th cruise and 5th one with Carnival. I'm definitely a fan of the FUN ships. Embarkation in Long Beach is pretty streamlined. We always fly in a day early and stay on the Queen Mary the night before. Just get up and walk across the parking lot and your off. It makes it so easy and the Queen Mary is such fun. The ship was in great shape. Not the traditional crazy colors that ...

I will start with a quick summary of our cruise and then break it down into sections with more detail. First, a little about us, we are an easy going family of four including two kids aged 8 and 11. We have been on nine Carnival cruises as a family so we are pretty experienced cruisers. Quick summary: Panorama is a very nice ship with lots of amenities, activities, and entertainment to keep ...

Embarkation: We always stay at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach the night before our cruise. We book the Park and Cruise package which includes the room, eight nights of parking, and a free shuttle to/from the Carnival cruise port which is about a five minute drive. We had FTTF with a 12:00 arrival appointment. We decided to head to the port early. We arrived at 10:40, dropped off our luggage, and ...

A nice Fall break on the Panorama

We had a nice Fall break on the Panorama if you are looking to get a taste of cruising with kids (12-14yrs) The pricing was really reasonable. The kids group was really lacking attention for pre teens. They had to make their own fun with the other pre teens. I would only rate comedy shows and productions as fair. Cruise Director Jerry was great. Had some Halloween activities which were nice. ...

Panorama is a beautiful ship with so much to do. The shows on this cruise were far better than others I had seen on Carnival. I always say that NCL and Royal are the big leagues and Carnival is the minor leagues but on this cruise the entertainment was top notch. My favorite were the shows in the main theatre who nightly put on top notch performances - In addition the cruise director Chris ...

We chose this cruise simply because we have done all the caribbean cruises and wanted something different. So we flew to LA and spent 2 nights before boarding the ship in Long Beach. Embarkation was a breeze. We were on the ship pretty quickly. They didn't really check the reservation times. Disembarkation was a different story. We waited for 2 hours to get off the ship and finally left at ...
