Oceanview stateroom with twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
A bit small, with only a bed, small desk, chair and stool. Small bathroom. Excellent cabin service however. Plenty of space to place clothing (3 wardrobes and some drawers). Some review mentioned hearing through the walls. I never had that experience while on this cruise. Either our neighbors were quiet or the walls were enough to drown out the noise. The cabin has a double bed – it was a decent size
Air con that you can alter in the cabin, beach and bath towels provided
Shower en suite, liquid shower gel and hair shampoo, no hair conditioner, a small bar of hand soap
There is not an automatic availability of a hair-drier, if your statesman has a spare one you can have one if he doesn't you can't!
The room safe is locked with a card with a magnetic strip
This doesn't have to be a credit card. Loyalty card would do
You need a lanyard holder to clip your sail and sign card onto this acts as your payment/ID card Read entire member review >>
Located mid ship the room was typical cruise size, the king size bed was very comfortable.
I liked having the window (would prefer balcony). Bathroom small but functional. The a/c was cold. Would book it again. Read entire member review >>
The view was gorgeous I even brought binoculars just because I can. The crew, every day they made cute little towel animals and left it on the bed, even a gorilla hanging! and we even learned how to make an elephant! The cabin was perfect, small ofcorse but WHO goes on a cruise and stays in the cabin! there was four of us, Parents got the cali king, kids got the pull out four feet about the ground, they loved it! everything fit together, nothing remarkable about the cabin, the TV remote was kind of broken and nearly fell apart each time. the linens were very nice, the mattress is on the firm side. we felt there was plenty of storage. our room steward was fantastic. Read entire member review >>
Cabin had ample storage and closet space. Bathroom smelled of urine for entire cruise. Large hole in center of bathroom floor. Girls loved fold down beds and personal reading lights. Beds were comfortable. Opposite end of ship from pool, spa, waterworks, but only two floors directly below buffet. There are no hairdryers in the cabin, must bring your own. Just wish someone would have addressed the plumbing / smell issue. As it existed when we originally arrived in our cabin, it had to have existed on previous cruise and it's frustrating it was not addressed. Read entire member review >>
We were in an Ocean View (E175) which had one pull down bed from the wall. My son is almost 6 ft, but the bed was long enough for him and he thought it was fine. The cabin is large compared to Norwegian, but smaller than Disney. Our cabin steward was very attentive. Note: no blow dryer or refrigerator. Read entire member review >>
A quiet room with Very efficient use of space. A King, two pull-downs and cot slept all five of us comfortably and the cot and pull downs folded up to make for a passably comfortable space during the day time. There was just enough storage, but we are light packers...... Read entire member review >>
E170: "Oceanview Cabin" - quiet overall, but could hear people talking outside. Ample closet space. Decent bathroom. Lacked refrigerator and hairdryer which should be standard. VERY close to stairs, elevator, and Imagination DR which was nice. On Empress deck which had guest services, a lobby area with bar and art show. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was of course smaller than your typical hotel room, once we moved the beds around however, we had plenty of space for the two of us to move easily about the cabin. The bathroom was small but plenty big to take a shower comfortably and use the other facilities. The vanity area was plenty big for all our hair and makeup products. The closets were big enough for us to hang our clothes and included a few shelves to place our folded clothes. There were four drawers in the vanity also. There was a flat screen tv in the corner of the room with the typical array of channels. The window was nice to have, to "check" the weather! I love the air conditioning, and the temperature was always comfortable and adjusts easy. The water pressure is great as well as the water temperature. The beds are sooooo comfortable. I slept like a log! Read entire member review >>
