Oceanview stateroom with twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
We were in Oceanview U58 located on the Deck 6, the Upper Deck.
We LOVED our steward, Melvin. He was extremely efficient, caring, and pleasant. He did great towel animals! The room had an issue with the A/C. It did get fixed, but not without a trip to guest services. The bathroom had a sewage smell constantly. It wasn't strong, but it was noticeable upon stepping into the facility. It was clean and kept clean thanks to Melvin. There was shampoo and soap provided via an attached soap dispenser in the shower, but I would recommend brining your own as the shampoo is very thin. Definitely bring conditioner if you need it, as well as a hairdryer.
There was only one outlet in the whole cabin since the one in the bathroom did not work. This was a bit of an issue with two devices needing charges, so bring a ship-approved splitting device if you choose this boat!
We had plenty of space and storage. The orange decor was a little dated in comparison to Celebrity ships. Read entire member review >>
We enjoyed the cabin. It was our first time on deck 4, but it worked out great. I didn't realize there was a trundle type bed in the room for a third guest. The mattress on that bed was about 24" thick. If we had a third person go with us, there would have been plenty of room for all of us. Read entire member review >>
Twin beds made into king were comfortable. Pull down bed with rail for child was perfect. Great water view. TV with a few channels but always a movie or two, cartoons, info about excursions, ship info and replay of taped shows playing. Plenty of pillows, good size restroom. Bring your own soap, and hair products, and blow dryer if desired. Read entire member review >>
Nice size room for our family of 3. Two adults and a 10 year old. Our daughter loved the fold down bed and our cabin stewart did a wonderful job of making her feel special each evening with her towel animals. He took the time to incorporate some of her personal items into the design each evening and she absolutely loved it. Room was clean, no odors to speak of and no visible signs of wear and tear. Beds were great, best sleep the wife and I have had in a long time. Not sure if all the credit goes to the beds or the gentle rocking of the ship each evening. When we were first assigned this room we thought it might not be good being so close to the elevator. But we rarely heard guest coming or going in the hallways. It was so much better than we had imagine. I would stay in this room again, absolutely. Read entire member review >>
Ocean-view cabin M173 on starboard side of Main deck was quite acceptable to us. Nice storage and bathroom. Beds could be separated or combined into a single bed. Window is showing its age. Read entire member review >>
We had an oceanview cabin on the empress deck. Cabin was close to everything. The location was a bit noisy at times. They had a piano player or a singer to entertain patrons at the bar. Guest services was across from the bar. The cabin was very clean. plenty of storage space. found only one outlet to charge phone-so bring you a power strip if you need muliple outlets. Beds and pillows were soooo comfortable. Good, hot, water pressure in shower. Read entire member review >>

Our cabin was in a very good location, we weren't bothered by too much outside noise; it was smaller than I expected though since I only had the Legend to compare it too but since we didn't spend too much time there aside from sleeping it was fine. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic! Read entire member review >>
No clock in room. Main lighting can be turned off from the bed (found this out the last night ;( Plenty of closet space with shelves and hangers. Shampoo and body wash provided. Beds are comfy and cozy. Windows were pretty dirty could not see out well. Binoculars were useless. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was located midship at M146. We liked our location because it was close to elevators yet we didn't hear a lot of people in the hallways. We couldn't hear anyone below or above us. The only thing we could hear was the motor running but that is expected. Plenty of drawer and closet space! Great view that wasn't obstructed. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was a Oceanview room, was orginally booked into an interior but the upsell fairy emailed me a deal for a flat 50 bucks i could get an oceanview and it was also 2 decks up. Only downside is that it was right under the Galley. Room was big enough for the 3 of us. Had the bed from the wall for my son. He enjoy that bed and sheets. Was nicely impressed with the room. Room Steward was awesome and pleasant and easy to deal with at all times. Read entire member review >>
We found the cabin to be a good size, the bed was very comfortable and there was ample storage space. I am usually the " live out of the suitcase" type traveller, but I took the advice of some cruise critic members and I unpacked and put my empty suitcase under the bed - this worked out great and helped in making the room feel even more spacious. Our cabin steward did not miss a beat and always had it ready for us, when ever we returned. Read entire member review >>
Our newly refurbished Cat 6C oceanview on Upper Deck had plenty of space for two people for a short cruise but no "sitting area". Closet space plentiful and shower was bigger than I remembered on this class ship but the sink has been redone so there is now only one small glass shelf for toiletries. Also if you lean over to brush your teeth, rinse off make up, you hit your head on this shelf! Read entire member review >>
Plenty of space foor clothes, but might need to bring more hangers. windoows do get dirty so make sure you get all yout pictures from the window early on. Close to the elevators and stairs. Read entire member review >>
