R118 Our room was as expected. Clean, small, but accommodating. However... the loud “screen door banging noise” on the other side of the back wall was a killer. Sunday, Monday, and then Saturday night at 2:30am, the noise started and wouldn’t stop until we called customer service (each time). They finally explained to us that there is a latch on something in a staff area behind our room. "It tends to get unlatched." So they’d send someone down and the noise would stop. Anyone thinking about booking room R118. Run. Run away fast. I had searched the forums and the internet for Carnival Fascination R118 and found nothing, so I hope this helps someone somewhere avoid this room. Read Less

We have cruised multiple times. As mature folk we request the twin bed setup as it is easier in the middle of the night to exit the bed than having to disturb your mate by crawling over them. We loved the arrangement. My CPAP machine did not require an extension cord stretched across the pathway to the bath. We did miss the refrigerator. Our steward, Kervin, and his assistant provided us with wonderful service. When we were surprised by our adult daughter with some goodies, they provided an ice bucket for the wine and kept it refilled daily. There were LED light strip under closet doors which came on when you walked past. It made the middle of night step up into the bathroom much easier. A real plus! Read Less

Took them 4 days and they kept saying they had it resolved. Moved us to R246 which was quiet, however there was a constant sewer smell. Gross ship. Read Less

We were four in an interior cabin and it was very tight. However, we were able to use all the storage closets & shelves, for our clothing. The TV was tiny and not visible to all 4 beds. There were no good movies or news stations, of interest, to us. We were aft on the Main deck. I think it was deck two. Each morning & evening, the cabin shook, as the anchors went up or down. Bathroom is good and comfortable. It is a cruise ship not a hotel. Even though it has better service than a hotel and a lot more fun. Read Less

I found my interior Cabin, U6 be adequate; the lack of light compared to the suites was obvious, but, in taking a room solo I realized that I would be giving up that luxury. I brought a soft sided cooler in my checked luggage as well as a 12-pack of Dr. Pepper and a bottle of pinot. I placed the items in the cooler, sat it under the sink in the bathroom and left a post-it not asking for it to be filled with Ice. It was filled until the final night. The bathroom initially had an odor that was unpleasant that filled the whole room, but after we were underway it seemed to be contained to a slight sourness in the bathroom only. I will note that I only saw my Steward twice. Read Less
