Small. DIRTY. Old. Smelled of sewer. Bathroom leaked all over floor. Sheets not changed all week. Internet doesn't work inside or on balcony - even if you pay to upgrade. I prepaid for 3 internet users and had receipt but Guest Services said I only paid for 2. Carnival Hub App doesn't work inside or on the balcony. Very noisy ship. People were fighting and running up and down halls til 4 am. Tried but unable to load the photos I took during the cruise and after the cruise Read entire member review >>
Very quiet and in a great location! Not far from the elevators and little food traffic during the day and night. The view is great despite the balcony extension starting at the rear of the balcony. You can look over the rail and see straight out, down and to the bow of the ship. Bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and granite counter tops around the room.
There is a privacy curtain that separates the bed from the rest of the room to make you feel like it's two different rooms when you're sleeping. The closet has a lot of space compared to a regular cabin. The cabin itself has a ton of drawers and storage space along with a mini fridge that contains a mini bar if you choose to use it. The fridge can be emptied if you choose to use it for something else.
They also have ports where you can connect an iPod, laptop, DVD player or other electronic device to the TV. Read entire member review >>
Large cabin, lots of space. Closet is big enough, not massive. Whirpool tub is not that big. If you want to be able to stretch out on the deck with a recliner, you need the Extended Balcony. Read entire member review >>
U93 - great beds - had 2 loungers & 2 chairs on balcony - TV very small for the cabin size- we moved the sofa to face the TV, more convenient for 3rd person to watch while in bed - loved the robes - tub extremely high to get in & out of Read entire member review >>
U83 This room is a GS with a regular balcony. The room did not have all working lamps. The bathroom in the GS's on this class ship have very deep tubs, which mean very tall sides, making it difficult to climb in and out. The shower/tub water was rather challenging to turn on and off. The closet is great although not very roomy for two people. Just the girl :). There are ample drawer space located throughout the cabin. There is a refrigerator. You can ask for it to be emptied if you wish to use it. We had Nguyen for a steward and he was awesome! This has one King Bed that is two twins pushed together, you can feel the seam, but the mattresses were new. We asked for extra pillows. The couch is a lay down double bed, leather/pleather, very slippery and cold at night. Good for kids. There is no heat in this room, only A/C. Keep in mind for winter cruises and pack warm PJs. We were in a Grand Suite. Cabin # U70 on the Upper Deck. It was quite spacious and very well decorated. We had plenty of room for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable. The closet and drawer space was more than we needed. The safe worked very well. The bathroom was larger than most with a marble sink and a jacuzzi, however you have to be a very small person to fit in the jacuzzi as it was quite small. The shower was good though! We had a large sitting area and a nice sized balcony. The was a hairdryer, 2 outlets...1 in the bathroom and 1 in the bedroom. We also had a fridge which was very handy for soda. Cabin was really big. Bigger than most city hotel rooms. Had king bed with sofa/chair area that converted to double bed. Plenty of storage drawers and closet space which also had a free for use safe. Safe not quite big enough for a full size laptop. Flat screen TV. Bathroom had a shower/tub combo which was also a jacuzzi tub but if you were over 5ft 5in would be tough to use. Very large step up to get into the shower/tub. I am agile and had to really carefully step in. Little more difficult for my wife who is short 5ft 2in. Or if you are older or have physical limitation would be tough to get in and out of. Balcony was good size and had 2 chair and a little table. very nice room. Excellent service. Deck 6. Outstanding. Huge walk-in closet, great balcony, more than enough storage, safe, comfortable robes, whirlpool tub/shower combination, great water pressure, comfortable bed. Couldn't have been more perfect. Read entire member review >>
U76 was our suite. Perfect for our size of family. Large bed for the wife and I, pull out couch fit our two daughters, and they brought in a cot with a thick mattress for our son. The cabin porters were great. Made the beds each day and took them apart each morning. Read entire member review >>
We stayed at cabin U94 on the Carnival Fascination. It was okay for a ship's cabin, I suppose, but not for the $3,700 we spent to stay there. This is my first cruise (and last one) so no idea if this cabin would be considered a bargain. All I know is I could have stayed in a 5 star hotel for what I paid for this lousy cruise.
