Carnival Cruise Reviews for Family to Cuba

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Old ship that needs to redone

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sensation

I was on the Sensation many many years ago. There was a sale I couldn't pass up. Cost for both my husband and I 377.00 with a 100.00 OBC for an inside room. I did get a call the night before because I am platinum that they had an ocean view no charge for us so I took it. I forgot about the fantasy ship purple and brass. Carnival really needs to do something when they do refurbishments they need ...

DO NOT BOOK THIS CRUISE! We had a family reunion / birthday party on the ship. The ship/cruise line was picked by someone in the family who cruises often and promoted the trip as a "great deal" . Although I was happy that someone else planned the trip, this is the last trip that family member will ever plan for us...#sensationFail. There was "NOTHING GREAT" about this cruise, and Carnival ...

I chose this cruise to go visit Cuba and Key West with my husband. Carnival has found a way to nickel and dime you even when you pay for all such as drink package. No bartenders except in serenity that were eager to serve you. Anton was awesome and the only one to come back and keep us happy. All other bars you had to go to them and wait! Since they do automatic gratuity you get poor service. Food ...

Worst Carnival Ship

A wee bit wordy but a lot of info. Got off the Carnival Paradise yesterday. I’ve cruised in 8-10 Carnival ships including Europe. By far, this was the worst ship. Food was pretty bad, almost embarrassing since we had 1st time cruisers in our group. Pork chops, Mahi Mahi and steak were very chewy. Took several bites before you could actually swallow. Tough to cut even with a steak knife. I ...

Sept. 5, 2018 Just returned from a cruise to Havana and Cozumel on Carnival Paradise and would like to pass along our views. Embarkation at Tampa was quick, painless and an improvement from years past. Living in the area we used Lyft for drop off and pickup at the curb. Stateroom was small with a window and stool under desk, but otherwise plain. Food quality and service has suffered ...

We selected the cruise primarily for the itinerary - I wanted to see Cuba and a cruise seemed like an easy way to do that without too much work. Having just returned from this cruise, I very much wish I had simply flown directly to Havana and skipped the cruise altogether. I knew the ship was on the older side so I wasn't that shocked to find a more limited option in terms of amenities or ...

Great shows, not enough staff, dirty rooms.

I had heard that the Paradise was an older ship, but that didn't prepare me for the poor state of the rooms. I could tolerate the rickety drawers, out-of-date features, and lack of storage, but the rooms were not clean. Windows, mirrors, walls all had visible signs of previous guests and were not cleaned while we were there. I never saw the room steward, and I even tried leaving a note. They ...

I was in this cruise on June 29th 2017. I was there with my family, and is going to be a very very long time before I go to any cruise ship, first of all be ready to spend 1000+ dollars while in the cruise because almost everything has to be paid separately. I do not have complaints from our Eugene our room service guy and most off the staff did a good job, Jaime, the cruise director is ...
