We chose this cruise as a short break to a place we'd always wanted to go... Tasmania. The fact that there was one day in Port Arthur followed by two in Hobart (the ship overnighted there) offered us more time in ports we wanted to go to than other Tassie cruises we considered.
We'd cruised on Carnival Spirit 3 times in the past: to Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands before the ship made Australia ...
We arrived early to explore Galveston before boarding the Breeze. We went to Bubba Gumps for dinner. Both of our meals were terrible and took about 45 minutes to receive them.
Embarkation went very smoothly and staff was very pleasant.
Our cabin was a balcony 11247. Our room steward Yuri was fantastic. We tipped him throughout the cruise for his exception service.
We had anytime dining ...
This cruise was a short break to visit Tasmania with another couple. On arrival we went to our room to drop off our hand luggage. Trouble and time wasting with the safe is detailed in the cabin review. Cleanliness of the room was a huge disappointment and is also detailed in the cabin section of this review. This lack of cleanliness was a bit of a theme throughout the cruise. Table tops in the ...
This was a 6 day cruise on carnival Spirit from Sydney to Tasmania and back to Sydney. Departing 11th February 2018 from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. The ship Visited Port Arthur and Hobart. We were in a standard balcony cabin 7253.Type 8F
I last travelled on Carnival Spirit in 2016. 2016 was my first cruise and I enjoyed myself so much I didn't want to get off at the end ...
We chose this cruise because the pricing seemed fair, and after reading reviews online, we determined it offered the most activities, eating options, entertainment, etc. We paid for Faster to the Fun, and it made embarkation a breeze! We didn't wait in any lines, we walked right through all points, and our room was ready when we go on board so we didn't have to deal with luggage. It was worth the ...
This was a six night cruise to Tasmania from Sydney.
Compared to the other 10 + cruises we have been on:
Buffet food was very poor. The food choice seemed to include a lot of sloppy stuff with little variety. Not even any roast meat carvery. Luckily the salad bar was OK. Long lines at buffet and poorly organised food serving made it very frustrating. Dining room food was hit and miss. ...
We sailed on the Carnival Splendour in February out of the port of LA for a two day stop in Cabo San Lucas, a one day stop in Puerto Vallarta, and three days at sea.
This was our sixth cruise with Carnival and the fourth time we have traveled this route. Traditionally we have sailed on spirit-class cruise ships with about a capacity of around 2000 passengers. This was our first time aboard ...
We were with a very large group (65 people!) and chose this cruise because our Travel agent got us an amazing deal. I talked my family into all going. It was my husband and I's first big trip as we went very close to home on our honeymoon. My parents had taken my little sister and I out of the country to the Bahamas when we were about 15 and 13 but our significant others had never seen the ocean ...
Loved the overall experience . Traveled with a teen, and was lots for her to do . Service was wonderful. The crew stayed busy all the time . Dining was great .(the melting chocolate cake is to die for ! )
PUTU attended to our cabin and was amazing. I traveled with a walker (healing a broken leg ) anyway.... when the luggage was being delivered or taken up at the port, the middle elevators ...
We thought we would try carnival after two years using other cruiselines. This was the third time we cruised with carnival.
I was really disappointed with the food. The breakfasts were all the same In every line the food was lacking flavor every morning was the same thing for 7 days. We decided to go to the dining room after checking the menu. Again disappointment they were not serving what was ...
