Took this ship over to Barcelona and back to Port Canaveral for the "replace the whale tale" transatlantic cruises. Wow, what a mistake! First mistake was not knowing that you don't take a cruise on a ship that's going into or out of dry dock because there will be contractors working on various aspects of the ship all during the cruise. Fortunately, we weren't bothered by this in our cabin ...
The menu was terrible. Repeat dishes on multiple nights. Service was terrible. Had to ask cabin steward to clean mirrors not cleaned between cruises. Found bed last night with comforter pulled up and straightened but bed had not actually been made up. Had a tremendously rude head server in the dining room. Quote when she first came to the table we asked how are you she said "extremely busy" ...
I am surprised by how bad the food is and the ship is dirty. The staff are good but seemed to be trained not to give bigger than a child serving for the Buffett. The prime rib a few nights ago turned out to be a few bites of beef. They cut such small bite size pieces I felt bad for the carver. Awful. Just ruined a good prime rib why bother?? This will be my last cruise on Carnival. I really used ...
Overall, this cruise had it's Pros and Cons
The pro's included an excellent specialty steakhouse restaurant called Farenheight 555. Of course Guy's Hamburgers are always good. Our room attendant was excellent, and most of the staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed some trivia games and "Deal or No Deal." The Fitness center was the finest I have ever sceen on a Cruise ship. Overall the ship ...
We chose this cruise due to itinerary.
Boarding the ship in Rome was seamless and we were on board really quickly.
Stateroom:
Our first impression it was dated but functional however when we returned later that night to discover it was freezing cold and was told while there is a thermostat on the wall it doesn’t work and we had no control over the room temperature! I was freezing and ...
Unfortunately food has to be great, with most days, 3 meals a day on board they have to get it right.
Carnival Pride, Iceland Trip, August 20, 2023, have failed miserably.
This is our 9th Carnival cruise, another booked for December and our 18th cruise overall.
We have not encountered worse food, and guests everywhere complaining.
Doesn’t seem to matter what food it is, complaints ...
I chose this ship because it was new and different. Read some bad reviews before my trip but I went ahead with an open mind. The ship itself wasn't terrible but it was not great either. I will not book again. The ship is too small for the number of passengers. Dining room and lido food is sub-par. Bonsai Tappenyaki was great. Casino is small and near capacity most sea days. No adults only pool and ...
Chose this cruise for its itinerary and price. Guest service kept annoying and harassing me about the wheelchair from day one. I kept explain it was a collapsible wheelchair and that I could still walk to the water shuttles but they kept sending emails and harassing me even after I emailed their president Ms Christine Duffy and after I was already on the ship. Carnival needs to learn how to treat ...
Carnival Pride trip to Norway
The sights and ports were stunning but the ship is old and needs a complete renovation.
Staff were indifferent and at times downright rude. I have never seen so many crew members using their personal phones before and there are not many cheery greetings on board from staff in passing as we have come to expect.
The service in main dining room was shocking, ...
VIP member with seven past Carnival cruises, I booked the Pride with excitement of another fabulous cruise in a Vista Aft Suite with all kinds of perks, ie Priority Embarkation/Debarkation, laundry, bathrobes, exclusive dining...
EMBARKATION: I was denied Priority Embarkation because the line was "closed"????, so I waited in the long line, shared my concerns with a Carnival staff supervisor ...
