A Two at Best

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

A few good things first: We had a suite, so boarding and disembarking were quick, no problems. The staff at the port are wonderful! We were able to go to our room immediately upon boarding. The suite was quite large. No problems there other than the big pole in the middle of the room right by the bed--made getting up at night hazardous. The walls also seemed very thin. We could hear crying ...

We used to cruise a lot before Covid. We are gold card members on Carnival. Our kids are 8 and 9 and this was their 6th Carnival cruise. We recently went on a Royal Caribbean cruise on the Independence of the Seas and had a great time, but we loved the Carnival kids club and had fond memories of cruising when our kids were much younger. They hadn’t been on a cruise since 2019 when they were 5 and ...

So loud

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

The dinning room was crowded and loud. The attendant could hardly move around. The noise level was so loud I couldn't hear my companions that were seated next to me. Then a woman flashed to some people. That was the first night. We didn't go back until the 3rd night and it was just as loud, a young child apparently choked on her food and her father got up and did the upper thrusts until he ...

Never on Carnival again

I have been on several cruises and this ship was the worst. I have cruised Norwegian and Royal Carribean and the food , entertainment was superior to the buffet food on the Elation. I took my daughter to her first cruise and I was embarrassed because of the lack of food variety at the buffet. (Choices were the same for the five days)/ I am scheduled to bring my granddaughter on her first cruise ...

Need a vacation from my Elation Vacation

This cruise is entirely too small for the people that they pack in. The food lines were extreme, so you end up eating at odd hours to cut down your wait times. But there was always a wait. I waited 20 mins for a Turkey sandwich which when I bit into it, a large glob of fat was like bouncing rubber. There is only one very small pool for the entire ship and it is constantly packed. The water ...

First time cruising/ something to be desired

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

My husband and I went with seasoned cruisers since this was our first time. The ship itself was beautiful and most of the staff were welcoming and pleasant. However, the room stayed rather warm. This rocked and swayed really bad the first couple of days. . Glad I wore my ear patch. I asked twice for an extra pillow and did not get one, I had to get my ship card changed because it wouldn’t open my ...

The good- The boat was surprisingly well decorated on the inside and was pretty. The cruise director Neil was the funniest and most entertaining cruise director we have ever had. Iwayan our cabin steward was fantastic and the bed was comfy and inside cabin was spacious. Roy, Mario and David our wait staff all were excellent. The bad- I have been on 3 cruises with carnival within the last ...

This was our 25th Carnival cruise, 43rd overall. The greatest benefit of this "milestone", as Carnival calls it, is a substantial credit when we book another cruise. Once onboard and when when venturing to our room we were surprised to find a white cruise card rather than our normal silver one. White is normally provided to guests with the elite Diamond status, but it will be sometime next year ...

I was satisfied with the food, the cheifs table was great , our room and room service was great and the comedy show was great every thing else worst the worst it was very boring the music was the worst I've ever seen on any cruise I felt like I was a senior retirement cruise everything was chartered to Caucasians. The employees were very Nonchalant. I will never visit this ship or recommend ...

Carnival Elation needs to do better!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

We took this cruise as a last-minute Father's Day gift, and it was close to home. Embarkation was a disater. We had an 11:30 AM embarkation time, which was not adhered to. As we entered the terminal, we were told we must check our luggage due to the size. This never happened at the other Florida ports. Then, the lines were ridiculous and long, and very few people wore masks. Once we arrived in our ...
